The most beautiful spacious restaurant with incredible views of the golf course. The staff were amazing, so welcoming. The food was fabulous especially the cauliflower cheese with mustard seeds. We will very much be back again. Thank you.

The new driving range is very good. Much nicer than before with lots of space for groups behind each bay. The end bays 16-19 do not have Toptracer, however the earlier numbered bays do. What makes up for it though is that these later bays have additional seating, so great to bring families along. The Diamond suite looks nice, being enclosed, so good for those who want some privacy from the masses, while the Platinum is the top level offering, with putting and a sofa. Would be nice if all bays had Toptracer, and the range seems shorter than it used to be, however the facility itself is now top notch and a couple of steps above most driving range 'sheds'.

Came for lunch - Sat by an open fire, were served by lovely friendly ladies and had awesome sandwiches with sides of fries. A good cup of coffee and a VERY reasonable bill. We will be back!

A nice course with some well maintained fairways. The greens were generally nice but a little better maintenance could be achieved.

Been playing here for about a year now and the transformation from last year is outstanding. The course is beautiful now. The new management really have put the work in to make it a great place to play.

Forest Hill Golf Centre is excellent. Spent an hour on the driving range and their virtual reality golf course meant we could play The Belfry but on the screen. It's like Tiger Woods EA Sports but playing it for real! Really good. Great service and great facilities. We'll be back soon. Cheers!

Course was in great condition greens were soft and true but slow, Par 73 with some long Par 5's, wide fairways and shallow bunkers.

Played today - Saturday afternoon. Lovely course in really good condition and surrounded by forest. Not at all crowded. Pleasant welcoming bar staff and really good fresh sandwiches at a very reasonable price. Course is attractive and hilly with fast greens and bunkers with good sand. No rough to speak of so might be fairly easy for low handicappers. Recommended

Great course and will be back. For some reason I felt the back 9 was polar opposites to front 9. Back 9 well maintained but the front 9 wasn't as appealing, might just be the time of year. Clubhouse is fantastic and service is really good, we had the soup and bread golf offer which helped a lot half way round. Practice net and putting/chipping green before starting your round and also has top tracer although went there recently and the balls were filthy, you'd think they would wash them like other courses as I had to clean my clubs when I got home. I reccomend

Very nicely decorated, overlooking the course. Had the shank burger for lunch, really lovely. Great fries. Some feedback which is hoped will be helpful. Website does not mention that shank burger not available in main restaurant, which is where we sat. They got it for us, but then had to dash to the other area to get more mint yoghurt. In ladies loos, one of the seats has been attached incorrectly so doesn't fit. Easy to rectify but surprised not yet done, so let's it down a bit. Would go again.

My wife and I popped into Forest Hill Golf Club Restaurant and Lounge for a coffee, soda water, and something to nibble on, after a lovely walk around Thornton Reservoir. Never played golf in our lives, and certainly don't intend to. But we do like good food in a lovely atmosphere, along with great customer service. Forest Hill really does tick all those boxes. The moment we saw the bar menu we plumped for the beef and horseradish sandwich. Wow! Good job we were both hungry. Extensive choice of food. Very reasonable prices....and not a golf ball in sight. Can't wait to go back for a Sunday lunch or an evening meal. Might even just pop back for another delicious beef and horseradish sandwich?
