We visited this place on a whim and it was lovely! On arrival the staff were very welcoming. They catered for my gluten intolerance and were very helpful. The place was lovely and clean inside. The food was freshly cooked and it definitely tasted yummy! I would definitely recommend giving them a try
The best restaurant in Marlborough, no exceptions. The food is outstanding, the service is fantastic and the atmosphere is lovely. Can be really fancy or really relaxed. It’s just a beautiful evening out.
The staff squeezed us in on a busy market day without a reservation. It was cold outside but the restaurant was warm and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. I will come again if we pass by again.
We were a party of 4 for their set menu and we had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. Everything was delicious and the service was perfect! The espresso martinis were a particularly good way to finish off the meal. I can highly recommend them.

Unfortunately I didn't take enough pics, but as you can see I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and espresso martini mocktail which was really good. The staff are great and service was really good.

Caesar salad and ham hock terrine were delicious and followed by equally good, confit duck and pan fried halibut.
Cheeseboard allows you to choose and share up to 5 artisan cheeses with accompanying chutneys.

Excellent meal. We chose to share the 3 small mains and 2 sides, rather like tapas. We had the smoked salmon with shrimps, the gin and tonic battered prawns and the beef. Sides of sweet potato fries and house salad. Also served with balsamic olive oil abd bread. More than enough for the 2 of us

Best ever pub Sunday lunch. 12 people no hitches, Perfect pink beef rump, great prawn starter, everything fantastic ( I never score fives, always strive for more)
