We booked a table for the royal wedding , well what can I say , it was awesome , from start to finish , staff you worked really, really hard , well done �, �.... & the afternoon tea was superb, with a selection of sandwiches, and a selection of cakes , in a box !! �, and the pimm,s ��, was to die for . We also had an evening meal , always had great food there, and great service , staff are always friendly , never had a problem , ��
We booked a table for 30 people for a baby gender reveal meal for my daughter! I can honestly say every thing was fantastic right from booking the table, they replied to every email promptly, we pre ordered most of the food so that helped! All the food came out together and correctly, absolutely no issues! Food was good � and we had an amazing waitress Chaya, she was friendly, polite, helpful, she was courteous and attended to all our needs and literally couldn’t do enough for us! and was a pleasure to have her as our waitress! Well done Chaya on serving such a large table on your own!!

We visited on sunday 15th jan 2017. For my sons birthday meal. The waitress was lovely and kepy asking if we were ok and was very helpful. The food came out and was very delicious. We Have been a few times and cant fault the atmosphere. Lovely place to eat and drink. Thankyou
I ate here on Sunday. The staff were very polite and professional. The assistant manager showed me to a patio table. He was very pleasant. The food was delicious. Fab salad with Pomegranate seeds. Delicious rice, lovely chicken. I cant fault the food or the drinks. Will be coming again.

Even though they were very busy at Sunday lunchtime, we were seated immediately and our drinks order taken promptly.
I really can't fault anything about the friendly and efficient staff, the well kept beer or the ample and tasty meals.
In fact, in addition, a real rarity these days, even the toilets were bright, clean and smelt only of bleach, a rare pleasure.
The decor is appealing and the prices very reasonable. We will certainly return as soon as possible and if you haven't tried it, I suggest you do.
It's a grill not a pretentious up its own **** brasserie, so go and enjoy a decent plateful of English nosh.

Me and my partner or parents eat here at least twice a month, some of the staff know us well, they treat us great and the food is always amazing as well as a great price! highly recommend The Britannia!
Friendly family eatery pub. Generous portions of pub grub classics & sharing platters. Large interior with an airy atmosphere, and a large Sun trap deck area & beer garden out front. My only criticism would be the lack of a comprehensive craft beer selection.
I absolutely love this place. Staff are amazing n friendly, they never try n rush people... Food is delicious n I haven't sent food back for 4 years now lol. Keep up the amazing work you do
Amazing! I had last been to the Britannia around 5 years ago and I didn't think much of it. It has completely changed. The decor was beautiful. The bathrooms were unique and very presentable. I was really impressed with the value for money on the food. Reasonably priced with generous portions, excellent quality. Staff were very helpful at resolving any issues. I attended in a group of 30 for a retirement dinner so there were bound to be problems but the staff took everything in their stride.
I cannot fault the service, food or venue. I cannot wait to go back. The only thing letting this review down is my terrible photography skills when taking pictures of the food.
Great customer care and the fish and chips were the best my mother has had for a long time (and when you're 91 that's some compliment!!). The waitress went out of her ear to make sure she had a comfortable chair and an accessible table. Will definitely return!
Excellent Sunday lunch. i had lamb shank. Ordered at the bar and sat on the outside deck.
I loved this place. The food was very good, the chips were great, and the apple and mint drink was great. Nice place, go with kids. The toilets were clean, and all the pub was clean. I recommend 👏

We are regulars at the Britannia and I have written reviews before however I feel the need to write another one. Many of the familiar staff have left as they are going to university etc. The new staff were doing their best but you could see they were slightly overwhelmed. Natalie was a familiar member of staff for a long time but left to develop her career further with the company. She was really missed so it was so lovely to see her back (we were hopeful it was a permanent thing, unfortunately not). She explained that she was covering until the new manager started. Natalie was fabulous with the staff, especially the new less experienced ones. She managed and mishaps a professional and effective matter, thank goodness she was there! Thank you Natalie x
Was at this pub recently, met the most lovely manager Lauren, she was so kind to me and my husband.
She was really personable, and she was extremely accommodating to us, my husband is a coeliac, and the fact that you offer a complete gluten free menu is fantastic.
We really appreciated having her serve us in an extremely knowledgeable and effervescent way.
Took my mum out for lunch here, lovely lovely place! Food was delicious, fast service and friendly welcoming staff. The skin on fries and onion rings are divine. Very reasonably priced - will definitely come back!
Brilliant - REALLY looked after me+the dogalog xx. Did us a takeaway panini and chips - HUGE 😂. Google Maps made us 3/4hr LATE UPSET baby kitten with heart defects - I was inconsolable. What SHOULD have been 3 hrs total - there+scan+back - WAS SIX AND A HALF HOURS. I BLAME GOOGLE. ..

Lovely evening spent here, place very clean, and staff were friendly. We were only planning on having a couple of drinks as we were visiting the area, decided to try food which was nice and served hot. Ended up spending several hours here.
Went here for the Sunday roast. It didn't dissapoint. It was a lovely plate of traditional food. My friend and I chose the 3 meat roast. Chicken, pork and beef. The pork was pork belly, so was quite fatty,( that is my taste though) but apart from that the meal was superb value. The service was excellent. When we first arrived we were put on a table under a speaker which was playing loud lively music. My friend has tinnitus so we asked to be moved. Not a problem. We were moved into another part of the restaurant which was quieter. The waitress was attentive and we ended up having a sweet, which too, was lovely. The reason I only gave 4 stars was, the music was just too much..it was loud and not relaxing. But..all in all..a lovely meal and worth every penny.
Family meal with 3 generations of us & everyone remarked how excellent our waitress Toni was - friendly, efficient & wonderfully welcoming.
Today I held my father's wake here, and I was so pleased with all the staff, the organisation and especially the food.
I highly recommend the Britannia and will be using again for any of our family events. Nothing was too much trouble, managers when so professional and all staff were very polite x
Regular evening venue for our group. A large group of Motorcyclists. Service excellent, food great, with a wide selection. Atmosphere always good.
