Trouvailles

We had a delicious meal at Trouvailles last week. We called in at lunchtime, after having phoned ahead requesting dishes from the evening menu. We were lucky staff was accommodating and flexible so we had the chickpea, cashew and coconut curry which was delicious and also orange polenta cake and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. We will definitely return to Trouvailles to try something else on their menu!

We booked ahead because I'm gluten free before we visited, (3 adults and 2 children) We we're made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. My niece wanted halloumi, so they made a lunch time meal for her. I had gluten free lager and burger, with a Greek inspired shearing platter with my nephew, with gluten free bread. Every starter and main meal was delicious, so full of flavour. All of us loved what we had. It was amazing. The service was excellent. We felt valued, appreciated and very welcome. Looking forward to returning. Thank you.

This place is just fantastic ! Very welcoming and exceptional food and service. I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu, as it has so much choice and the quality of the fresh cooked menu is second to none ! They cater for any occasion. I highly recommend this place and love their ethos. If I could give 10 stars I would. It's my second visit and I was not disappointed. On the contrary, it has a homely and warm feel, almost like visiting your Moms home for lunch. Once again, I had the soup, plenty of fresh veg and cooked very well. No lunch at the Services for me today! We need more of these wonderful restaurants. Thank you

We came in quite close to closing time but nothing was any hassle. All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the burger and the flavours were perfectly balanced, the ingredients really well thought out and all cooked brilliantly to give a good range of textures. I definitely need to steal the seasoning on the sweet potato wedges! I normally ignore the side salad but even that was a bit special. We will definitely recommend, and will certainly be back!

First time visiting Trouvailles. Certainly won't be the last. The staff were very attentive. The decor is really nice. Plenty of room, unfortunately some other places in Marske are tiny and feel a bit cramped, but not here. There was a good selection on the menu. We had the Black Bean Burger and the Thai Green Curry. Each dish was freshly made and you could tell that when tasting them . Both meals were delicious. We were too full for desserts but what we saw going to other tables looked great. Its bring your own wine at the moment as the owners are waiting for their licence to be passed, but I actually liked that about the place. A lovely chat with the owner/chef when we had finished . I wish then every success in this venture !
