My husband and I called in last night for a curry and a drink offer. The staff were friendly but didn’t realise the offer was on. Also no lights on outside. We told the staff who sorted it. Very dodgy entrance so they need to be on. Kian has definitely improved the pub at last.

Went for a lunch with 11 work colleagues to celebrate our managers retirement. Food was delicious. Staff friendly and it was really good. One small thing, the wasps/hornets in the big window need to be removed as they were trying to find a place to nest.....

After a sticky start (well handled by staff and a cleaning cloth) we enjoyed lovely meals from the "New Menu". Very very quiet on the Monday night of our visit Staff seemed happy, toilets clean and accessible. No car chargers in the large carpark. For an out of town gastro pub destination not far from the motorway and on a main A road this is going to look increasingly odd. On leaving, the outside lights had timed out and it took a while for them to notice us stumbling in the dark.

Have been quite a few times now and have always had a fantastic meal. The staff are brilliant. Last night was for my wife's 50th so a very special occasion and a few months back we went for my son's 18th. I bought him his first drink and the girl behind the bar that night was brilliant. She asked for his I'd but in such a good way as she knew it was his birthday and he was so proud to get his license out. She said you'll have to get used to that for a bit and wished him a happy birthday. Well be back again and again. Great choice of food too which is always delicious but the staff are the real stars. Thank you

We booked for lunch & had cheese & bacon burger & chips & Feel good salad with chicken. Both were very good as usual. Service was great & staff very helpful & friendly. Also we got 30% off mains which made it a great deal.

Had lunch here with my son. The pub itself is just off a busy road, but it's a really lovely setting. The staff were absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough. It doesn't cost anything to smile. The food was delicious. I had the turkey dinner and my son had fish and chips and the apple pie. They have cold water at the bar, where you help yourself, nice touch. Lovely atmosphere, plenty of parking. I would go again and have recommended same to my friends. Cost £41 for one starter, 2 mains and one dessert. They do accept dogs, which is why I couldn't give 5 stars.
