Good honest home cooked grub which is good value for money, Friendly landlady and friendly chatty customer. We were the only two eating but the food was still good with friendly service. I would recommend.
Great village pub; decent company; unpretentious, home cooked, reasonably priced and nicely presented food including Sunday lunches. Music and quiz nights and other events held on a regular basis as well as league darts, pool, and skittles. Sports shown on TV. Juke box. On quiz nights, wood-fired pi
Wonderful village pub serving amazing food for 4 hungry South Africans travelling back from Cornwall. Well done Tracey 🍻👏🤗
Stopped off for a pint whilst out for a walk. Beer was good and the staff and customers friendly. From what I could see, the food also looked good, although I did not have time to try it. A traditional pub that makes a great place to stop, have a pint and get out of the sun!
Very accommodating - got to watch tne Springbok/New Zealand rugby match, and of course, SA won!
Had a great meal with good traditional pub food, very friendly staff and excellent ales. Shame it was so quiet, an excellent village pub. Hope it survives.
Lovely homemade bar food at such good prices and welcoming atmosphere and staff. Will definitely be back soon.
Great British pub. Good beer at good prices, and staff who already know what you want on your second visit. Good wholesome, cheap food too.
A great pub with some very good beers. Nice atmosphere and landlady.
We were a party of six, meant to have gone to another Rose and Crown nearby for lunch, but so pleased we ended up here. Great meal, good 'pubby' pub, not pretending to be anything more. Good atmosphere. Would definitely go back again.
