Went out for a drive to get some space and a change of scenery …
We ended up at Mad Toms …
We walked in and didn’t quite know what to expect but the gorgeous lass behind the bar made us feel at ease and very welcome …
I have coeliac’s and it’s not something small towns cater for but the lass behind the bar worked to find a solution …
Kitchen staff worked hard to make conditions to do my meal in safer …
The food was presented very elegantly and tasted just as good as it looked A+ …

Wasn't sure what we'd find in Marton for dinner. Pleasantly surprised by how good MT was. The burgers were far better than what you'd find in Wellington for example and half the price!!
They have a huge fireplace and it was fierce. Burning left over wood from a local are chopping competition.

Delicious food, fantastic staff couldn't have felt more welcome especially since we had just been turned away from the club hotel that only had 8 people in it and who wouldn't give us a table because they had another large booking arriving 20mins after the 2 of us arrived. I will definitely be returning next time I am back from Melbourne
