This place is brilliant, we've just been for a Sunday dinner and it was fabulous. We also sneaked in a dessert 🍨 which was amazing. This place is well worth a visit.

The food is fabulous, wonderful flavours, excellent service. Not your usual pub food , everything is high quality and cooked by a trained chef....but pub food prices.

Fantastic Sunday lunch today, beautifully tender and lovely flavour beef, 6 veg, Yorkshire pud, roasties and lovely gravy. No room for apple strudel, we’ll go back for that with coffee sometime soon. Christmas decorations are great and the atmosphere was just right. Staff are very friendly and helpful, making sure you have all you need. We’ll definitely be back for more. Thanks

It is a tea room that serves that bit extra. Would always recommend giving the "special" consideration. Been a few times over the years (yes I'm old) and hopefully will be visiting several times in the next couple of decades.

Called on the way through to Thirsk. Main cafe was upstairs but a few tables on floor level. Chef was very polite and food was plentiful. Will call again when passing

The owner/ chef Volker was very friendly, food was great. Traditional german specials on the menu which i thoroughly enjoyed.

Called here for Sunday lunch the other day and pleased that we did.
Starter of sweet potato, chicken and Chinese spiced soup was lovely.
The roast beef and the roast pork dinners were great.
I have a large appetite and these two courses were sufficient for me, very good value for money.
The staff were truly excellent excellent and the chef even took the time to have a natter with us.

Called in for lunch on a bank holiday for Jubilee. Food was amazing and we were made to feel very welcome . Would definately return!
