Amazing hotel, just come back after celebrating my wife's birthday. She was over the moon with it. Used the spa, which was beautiful and the staff were great. Stayed in the hotel, amazing food in Samuels restaurant, fantastic service and such an interesting place. On arrival, the gentleman who showed us to our room, also gave us a quick tour of the hotel and an overview of its history. We also had an afternoon tea in the wonderful drawing room and walked the grounds, as well as visiting the birds of prey. Save up and go ! You deserve it !

Would have given 3 stars but the view was beautiful and food was scrumptious as well. The view of the estate itself is remarkable . The beauty around with deers is such sooting to sore eyes :) . The view is just splendid as it's fresh and calming walking around , enjoying the sun and cool breeze . But what made it horrible is the lack of attention they gave to the room we were given !! I really had no expectations of such sort after booking this royal castle estate !!! As you paid for the Room which is on a luxury side and you expect to be treated just like that .... This experience let me down though. Utterly disappointed with the room as it was not cleaned , got Allergy instead on my face and was itching during my stay so put a sign for cleaning but even after putting a sign for cleaning , they did not do anything , NOTHING AT ALL !!! When i came back in the evening it was just the same as i left so you can not even ask them to do it again because there is no staff available !!!!! If you don't clean it why you keep a card for cleaning there ???? Very much disappointed with such conduct from such highly paid estate ! The Webs were not cleaned !! The dusting was poor as there were spider webs hanging on the bedroom wall and in the loung area too which i thought was not something you pay for to enjoy a luxury experience !!!!!! Terrible as there were spiders in the bathroom and spider web under the sink as well !!! Very bad service. There was a spider in one of the bathrobs which is definetly not exceptable at all after paying for a costly estate like this !!!! :(( It's very dangerous as well !! It really made me angry as it was a suprise vacation !! It was so scary as it was going in the gown and i had to kill it !! This is a safety hazard after paying a good amount of money which is expensive as well so you expect a luxury and comfortable stay not a scary room not cleaned and spider webs are there !! Hope they rectify this as room service does not clean throughly , for they charge you for everything even the Teddy Bear in your room on your Arrival !! I understand that they promote their stuff but i thought it was complimentary as a good gesture to their Guests in a Luxury Estate like this !!! AS MANY other High End hotels do !! Would definetly like to VISIT AGAIN but i hope They pay SERIOUS ATTENTION to the cleanliness of the room and bathroom SO THERE ARE NO SPIDERS SITTING IN YOUR BATH GOWNS :(( It was utterly scary and not safe for someone who does see spider in the gown. Food was lovely , ambiance was awesome , view around is just wow ,out of the world ,Calm and Quiet , You can enjoy at night which is phenomenal♡♡♡♡♡ . You can walk around enjoying the silence and beautiful clear sky with hundreds of stars which you can not see in the City sadly. Overall i loved the food , the interior of the estate is beautiful other than sofas as most of them were worned out and in pretty bad shape after being used too much unfortunately !! But there are beautiful huge sitting rooms where you can enjoy fireplace and watch the view outside with a lovely drink :) or chat with your loved ones .... ♡ They got a mini cinema too which i did not have time to explore though. They got a drawing section for children as well where you can paint or colour and enjoy some family time with kids . :)

A wonderful place to stay with a high standard of catering. Breakfast service was super-efficient. Overall the staff is extremely courteous and welcoming but our stay was marred by one young member of the spa staff that was quite unhelpful when I had a problem. Otherwise, certainly 5 star

We had a full afternoon tea with champagne as part of our golden wedding celebrations weekend. It was delicious. The sandwiches were very tasty, also the desserts. The scones were freshly baked and still warm. Archie, who served us was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the estate. We will definitely be returning when back in the area.

We booked for Afternoon Tea for eight. Attentive and discreet service, without being overbearing. A great selection of tea and refreshments. Fresh sandwiches, cakes and scones. Delicious clotted cream, with own Swinton jam. A lovely, relaxed place to enjoy afternoon tea.

Stunning location. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and done to a great level of quality, with everything you could want. Took a dog and the dog treats given were fantastic quality! They provided good quality bedding and bowls.

We went into Swinton park hotel for afternoon tea. Which was very nice, and the service was first class. The drinks was a bit over the top. A gin and tonic was 18 pound. But the atmosphere and location was first class.

Fantastic venue, great service and staff (throughout), packed with history coupled with a modern spa and Terrace restaurant. Lots to do and see around the grounds, walks, sights, facilities... One night wasn't enough! Great breakfast. Thanks to the great team there for a fab experience.

Absolutely love Swinton. Stunning setting. Excellent attention to detail. Friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous food. The spa is superb. You are in a luxurious setting but it feels very homely. Prefer the main building rather than the Coach Hose.

The best Hotel experience we've ever had. We wanted: - the outdoors without crowds, traffic or o.s. maps - a spa not compromised by lack of space - good food and more than one restaurant - to avoid airports, planes and queues Swinton Park Hotel did not disappoint, providing: - a historic setting in which to relax and unwind - hours of stunning walks within the grounds and wider estate - a unique range of activities, experiences and facilities so extensive we could only sample them during a 4 night stay - excellent service from friendly experienced staff - special thanks to reception for handling our many requests and to the Terrace bar for an education in cocktails

Took my granddaughter yesterday for afternoon tea. I've been & stayed before as we are quite local & have used Swintons external activities many times. The only criticism I'd make, as I've had many afternoon teas elsewhere, & it's only a minor criticism is that, in the miniature cake selection it was very 'bland' on the eye, & nothing chocolatey offered.

Characterful country house beautifully designed with Rapunzel towers, sweeping grounds and cedar trees, deer, folly's and lakes. A friendly, knowledgeable, interested concierge & good food. Some staff are less experienced also shooting, riding & cycling not available when visited. Well worth a visit.
