Just been in today had a gorgeous bacon and egg butty on seeded bread - eggs were delicious, bread was super soft and bacon was nice and crispy as per my request. Will definitely go in again if in the area.
We're passed this place so many times but never ventured inside until now. What a wonderful place! Unpretentious, genuinely charming, fabulous food, delightful surroundings, and wonderful staff - it's a perfect café!

You know those places that you don't want to review because you don't want everyone to know how they are? Great food, unpretentious but made with care. Really good soup. Great sausage roll. Even the decaff coffee is decent. Just don't tell everyone!
Had a delicious Biscof milk shake. It wasn't on the menu but I had seen a photo on someone else's review, so asked "and received". Great selection of cakes etc. It was busy even though late in the afternoon, but managed to get an inside photo after some customers left .... quirky and full of charact
Marvellous tea room with fabulous staff and great quality food. We love the vintage feel and the food is excellent. Every time we've visited we've received prompt service, you are never kept waiting long and the staff are lovely and attentive. Probably the nicest coffee in the area too.

Stopped here as we couldn't find any parking in Matlock Bath, and I'm super glad we did. Lovely set up and atmosphere. Food was good and reasonably priced with big portions.

Just been here for a late lunch. Excellent ploughman's and a wonderfully large pot of tea. Followed delicious cakes. Very nice people and lovely atmosphere. Plus the huge bonus of being very dog friendly. Definitely would recommend.

Called in on Saturday as we were passing, small establishment but a wonderful real fire was very welcome on a cold day. I only wanted takeaway food and drinks but every table was full with other customers waiting for a table to come free. Ordered two Lattes a sandwich which came with a bag of crisps
It's a lovely little café with home made cakes and scones, I had a lovely cheese omelette and lime cheesecake after hubble had sandwiches and crumble and custard after, definitely recommend it 😋
