I visited with a group so the service was affected by the sudden influx of customers. The staff worked through the multiple orders reasonably efficiently and displayed a decent attitude. The food, fish and chips of course, was on the better side of usual. Perhaps more charitably I would say it was worth a repeat visit. Not world class but nothing to dislike here.
Great menu choices really good food at affordable prices. We were on holiday in the area for seven days and the only day we couldn’t get food from there was Sunday evening. They deserve a day off! I would highly recommend the Darley Dale Fish Bar.
A really lovely takeaway with a brilliant selection of food. Food is always delicious and well prepared. Staff super lovely. Just had delivery for the first time and it was quick, tasty and delivered with a smile. Very lucky to have them as our local!

after walked around the halldale wood and holt wood, i had a small fish and chips with chilli sauce. sat outside and ate them, outdoor seats and tables are provided by the shop. the batter on fish was crispy. chips were crispy aswell.

Enjoyed our fish and chips here. Real cut chips and the fish was fresh. Batter could be more crisp but that's just preference!
It's just a chippy, but they get all the basics of being a chippy right, and the chips are just perfect :-)

Very nice and quite traditional fish and chip shop
Not local but have passed many times - always very busy - we live a few miles out and decided one sunny evening to have a drive out and call in 😍 we were greeted by lovely welcoming staff - ordered fish and chips. The food was just lovely 😋 crisp batter and perfect chips - was definitely worth the drive and won’t be passing by next time - we will be stopping 😍 thanks for a great meal
