Lovely 1500AD pub. We popped in after a visit to Glendurgan gardens. Food was hot, tasty and quick. Service was excellent. Take some time to walk around the building as there is a lot to see. There is a courtyard outside for when the weather permits.

Best Steak and Kidney pie I have ever tasted!! The Cod was superb too ! A great pub hidden away which is very special. A must for everyone to try! The food , staff and atmosphere all made it a really great visit. Try it you will definitely have a great time !
Great old local pub in Mawnan Smith. Off the beaten track, but a short distance from the Hellford River and Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens. Well worth a visit, for drinks or, and good food. Great friendly service and lovely atmosphere with plenty of space inside and outside.
Great old pub, lots of character, with very friendly staff. Lots of space to take dogs inside too. Food was good would definitely recommend this place.
