The fried rice is a specialty and it's super delicious, service is always good as they are always fully staffed. Seating is spaced out and restaurant is big and always feels clean. Prices are average foe seafood plates and they are well served

Great food and great service. Menu was larger than we expected. Shrimp (of course) catfish tilapia, snapper, red fish, calamari and octopus. We started off with the calamari. Rhonda had Shrimp and rice while I had octopus. The food came fast. Overall an enjoyable meal and evening.

Filling, delicious, nutritious, and a total treat for your taste buds. Mambo is a mix of traditional seafood delights that a great meal and not heavy on the wallet. The seafood is absolutely fresh and the atmosphere and service is high on the bar. I have always had amazing meals coming here and definitely recommend you stop in.

Fabulous food! Huge portions. My hubby and I shared the 1/2 lb calamari appie then split the Mambo Combo. Delicious fried fish, huge shrimp, stuffed crab (the best I've ever had), stuffed shrimp and OMG, the shrimp fried rice! Fun, relaxed atmosphere, very casual. Lots of families. Good cocktails and beer. Very inexpensive considering the quality. Great staff, too. We will be back!

The Special Fried Rice is spectacular! Perfect taste combination of shrimp, pork, and chicken. We ordered a large portion (not the platter) and we added extra shrimp for a moderate extra charge. It was simply spectacular. In addition to great margaritas and fresh squeezed and made lemonade, and a full assortment of beverages, they also have the red soda machines that can add a variety of specialized flavors. I get the Diet Coke with ginger lemon flavor mixed in. Excellent. And the ginger lemon or ginger lime are not only great tasting, but the ginger is good for your digestion.
Always a wow experience here. Servers, manager, and staff are super-nice and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant. Fun and lively and family-friendly atmosphere.

My wife has always talked about the famed rice from Mambo's...and yes, it was definitely delicious. The rest of the food we tried was tasty but....left me wanting a little more.
First...the ambience is loud and bustling. It's one large room with a high ceiling. I almost felt like I was at some fish market in Seattle...so depending on your taste, you might like or not. If you're looking for a nice romantic spot to cozy up with your date...this is not the place.
But on to the food...we had the cóctel de camarones to start...was it great? It was good...the shrimps weren't too small nor too large. The cóctel tasted freshly made which is very important... personally the sauce just needed a little more kick to it. Still a nice start...
The prices for the food are reasonable..
Nothing too crazy. But I got the feel that almost everything is fried. The rice to begin with is fried...even though the taste is epic. I had the stuffed crab and stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon...but the stuffing in the shrimp was the same from the crab...so it basically tastes the same. With a little more cream cheese in the shrimp...that would've been killer.
The shining star here is the rice...which IMO is why it's not a 5 star place. You don't go to a seafood place to eat fried rice...no matter how tasty it is or how many proteins you put in it. You should go to eat their famous camarones or their amazing cócteles. But still...the rice is definitely some of the best in town.
I'd recommend this place so you can at least try their Mambo rice...once you've tried it...it just might keep bringing you back.
