Slim Chickens

Absolutely delicious, chicken is very soft, juicy and not overly breaded as the monstrosity of breading that Raising Cane's calls 'Chicken Fingers'. Service was very friendly, and attentive, a cashier even came by to ask the other 4-5 families if we needed anything. Bathrooms were very clean, tables were clean, the overall establishment was clean. The sauces, were great, the fries were well seasoned although some were slightly more salted, the toast was good (Personal Opinion) it was slightly darkened on both sides tasting delicious. Overall great place to eat chicken hang out with buddies or a small family and enjoy delicious meals.

This was our first time eating at Slim Chicken and what a disappointment it was. My wife and I ordered the Classic Plates. The chicken was juicy but the breading was not crunchy at all. It was soft and spongy. The white gravy dipping sauce was absolutely horrible. It had no flavor and tasted like flour or whatever thickening agent that they use. It was so bad in fact that I ended up not using it at all. Instead I used another competitors dipping sauce. The toasted bread also had no flavor. The best part of the meal, the fries. After this experience I will cross it off my list of places to eat chicken strips. Instead I will head over to Canes or Chick Fil A. ***Follow up*** Slim Chicken reached out to me wanting to make things right. The email they provided would come back as undeliverable but I will commend them on their customer service and their willingness to listen to their patrons.

Worse service I’ve ever had. Food is decent, only reason I stop is because I live in the apartments near by. I waited 15 minutes at the drive-thru for my order and nothing. the employees completely forgot about me. I honked several times but they were to busy flirting to notice me. I had to park, get off and go inside to get my food. Not to mention Not even a single apology was given. Mind you there was no one at the restaurant. I wouldn’t be surprised if this restaurant closes due to some bad employees.

I had the chicks plate and it was very good...the fries were a little too salty for my taste but other than that it was good... I love that they have 3 flavors of tea (peach, raspberry,and the regular sweet or unsweet tea) I would like to try more of the menu choices so yes I would definitely be going back...🙂
