Wallbangers Burger Bar

We visited Wallbangers this past weekend, our server Maia was nice and attentive to us. I had the el Rey burger my sister had the cheesy burger. Both fries were really good. I like my sweet potato fries nice and crispy and here they had them just like that. Will definitely eat here again when I’m back in McAllen

This place serves some deliciously amazing burgers. The chuck ground meat they use is good(i order mine medium), the their toasted buns are homemade and I think they add butter to the bun, their classic fries they serve are really good and always made fresh to order. My favorite burger from here is definitely "El Rey" All the ingredients in this burger are of great taste & quality, you won't be disappointed when ordering this one ( i get the egg over medium and they always cook it perfectly). Overall i highly recommend you the burgers here.

Wallbangers still holding strong. The El Rey burger I ordered was sooo good. Huge manly burger. I can only imagine how much bigger the next size is. Love the twisted potato wedges. Place is kept very clean. Servers were great and attentive. Didn't even have to ask for refills on drink. Great family environment and lots of TVs to watch. What really sets them apart in my humble opinion is the buns they use. They were nicely toasted and complimented the flavors of the burgers. Will keep coming back.

Tried this place for the first time to celebrate my son's birthday. I'm glad I did because this place didn't disappoint. I enjoyed the atmosphere, it felt like an Archie/ Pulp Fiction kinda vibe, their $5 milkshakes Are Great. I think I found the best tasting burgers( in my opinion)the buns are my favorite,they are toasted,soft and buttery. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for good tasting handcrafted burgers. Service was great too,very attentive, happy hour would be a good time to come as there isn't too many people and have several menu specials.

We have a very pleasant experience with Wallbangers with the friendly and unique atmosphere that bringing you back to the age of rock & roll! Very unique and very tasty as well! The foods were on point as we ordered 4 combos, 2 appetizers and 1 kids meal. We already feel full when we finish half of our burgers. They were huge, and it isn’t have too much seasoning which is a plus since lots of places tend to over seasoned their patties! However, my burger wasn’t as juicy as I expected and the fries wasnt as crunchy or crispy so I have to downgraded a star. Overall, it is a very decent place to have an authentic burger, but I would recommend the patties to be a bit thicker since we are paying more than $15 for a combo. (And we are in Texas) As I have tried many burger places jn the U.S, Wallbanger is a bit disappointed but they still have decent burgers.
