The Burger Place

Needed a break from seafood on this trip and wanted a good burger with fries and wow! Found it here. Since the menu is burgers, (with some different options for kids) how could it not be good? Well it was delicious and the fries amazing. There are tons of options for you to have your burger the way you like it. I had the 8oz cheeseburger and small fries, so glad I did not go for the large fries, never would have been able to finish them. IMO the fries are perfect- no extra kinds of seasoning, no coating, just potatoes perfectly cooked. I thinkbthey make thier own rolls too, saw a woman in the back making dough, so you know its all fresh. This is definitely a place I would bring friends and family. Indoor and outdoor seating, parking is the only "issue" as it's in downtown Melbourne. You may have to walk a block or two but it's well worth it.

Honestly some of the juiciest burgers I have ever had. I have had only a couple of really good burgers in my life and honestly this is one of them. Everything was great, the ingredients are fresh, the fries are crispy and are a great compliment to the burgers and the customer service is fantastic. I have been wanting to try this place out ever since I moved down and the stars never aligned and honestly I wish it would have been sooner. If you're in the Melbourne area and craving a burger, definitely a place to check out. Went during lunch so there was a little bit of wait but it is so worth it, they're very fast and efficient! They have outside seating which makes the experience even more fun to enjoy! The old school theme brings back some old memories especially with the classic cars! Also they are very pet friendly!

Classic burger joint with classic diner interior and moderately priced food in downtown Melbourne. This place is located on the street for downtown Melbourne. The interior is all in the classic 50’s (?) burger joint style, kind of similar to steak n’ shake interiors. The food is reasonably priced for the locations, with burgers being approximately $6-$10, shakes being $6-$8 and fries $4-$6. I got a burger and malt shake for ~15 after tax. The food took about 15 minutes to come out but they call your number and bring it to you. I came on a Wednesday evening, so I’d imagine it’d be a longer wait on weekends. They have a lot of indoor and outdoor seating options. The burger was rather standard, but they have a wide range of free topping options (including grilled onions and mushrooms), as well as it being on a brioche bun. I enjoyed the burger, nothing special but still good nonetheless. The shake was absolutely delicious and almost a chocolate overload. Overall a good experience for a fast casual burger in downtown.
