Sonic Drive-in

My family has loved sonic for almost 20 years. We used to drive 45 min just to eat at the one in Boynton beach when we lived in ft Lauderdale. First off before I forget they have the best ice out of anywhere except for hospitals. They have the perfect little pellet ice... And you can actually just buy the ice which we do all the time. The popcorn chicken is really good and mozzarella sticks but I especially like their fried cheddar pepper poppers with ranch. It's a great drive thru but it's better to make time and park and enjoy the atmosphere. The staff is always friendly. It's a very up beat place. I also like the variety of slushy drinks..I like grape, my son likes cherry limeade and my husband likes strawberry lemonade. Sonic is my 1st runner up in shakes, behind Steak-n-Shake but It's closer to me, so,I go to Sonic more often. Oh yeah they have much a better hot fudge Sunday than McDonald's .. not only is it bigger and the ice cream's better but unlike McDonald's the ice cream machine always works at Sonic.

What can I say, it's fast food, but it was good and the service was good. They bring the food out to your car which is where you order it as well. I had to give them a downgrade for atmosphere, because the spot I pulled in did not have a working computer screen. I was however, able to order using the microphone and speaker and order off of a static menu.
