Amazing, and I meant ah-may-zingggggggg hot chocolate 👏 They ran out of Aussie chocolate when I was there, but the Belgian selection more than made up for it. Thick, luscious hot chocolate, with your choice of milk. Serviced by friendly, patient and helpful staff members, really can't ask for more 👌 P.s. choose their outdoor seating, and enjoy all the curious balls of fluff walking by this busy stretch 🐾

A great place to enjoy good quality chocolate. Classic Hot chocolate is very rich in flavour. Chocolate Affogato is extremely delicious. Beautiful shop with plenty of seats to enjoy your food. Can also buy chocolates/ chocolate coated nuts there which is a good choice as souvenir. Price is not cheap though.

Classically "parlour" set up along the esplanade of Lygon St, Carlton. It hasn't changed much over the years apart from their pricing, it has gone up in variety. Expensive indulgent but worth the visit or a few visits.

Koko Black should be on top of everyone's "want to go" lists. And if you have been here then I strongly recommend going again because this place is absolutely "loyalty" worthy. I myself am a regular and whenever I go to Lygon Street, Koko Black is the first place to go, to start my night. I just can't get enough of their Belgian Hot Choclates (the hazelnut hot chocolate is probably the best one). And to be completely honest, Koko Black is definetly a bit pricy. But if your on Lygon Street chances are you already knew you'd be spending a bit more on that date night then the usual. Just saying, do your self a favour and give Koko Black a try. I got the chill hot chocolate, and although I love chili the hot chocolate was definitely had too much chili, it was hard to drink comfortably. The chocolates are very nice, I got the salted caramel one but my boyfriends ginger chocolate wasn't great, his hot chocolate was very nice though. (he had the plain one)

Koko Black has an amazing selection of wonderful chocolates that goes so well with their delicious hot chocolates and coffees. You might be surprised to find quite a nice lunch menu not just lots of things with heaps of chocolate. There is a lovely spot on Lygon Street and the service from their staff is very good.

I loved the spiced hot chocolate here. One of the best hot chocolates I've had! The spice hits your throat but after a couple of sips you get addicted to it and then nothing is better! The chocolates are amazing. I tried Belgian chocolate, Bailey's dark and hazelnut, loved them all! Koko black is my go to destination everytime I need an uplifting drink and chocolates.
