Nine Taiwanese Dessert House

bingsu didn't used vanilla flavoured ice cream instead of the advertised flavours (looked like strawberry in the pictures). ratio of milk in the snow ice was wrong (it was too icy, not enough milk). not enough syrup. honestly pretty disappointing for $15.60 the serving was enough for two... maybe the desserts without ice or icecream would be better

This dessert place is conveniently located in the Swanston Street and it was pretty spacious. The vibe and environment were alright, not comfy as table set up was too close one to another. The customer staffs were pretty ignorant and they kept themselves busy without having interaction with customers. Honestly, it was a great place to have long catch up and hang out with friends as they won't kick you out since they're pretty ignorant, while other places might kick you out not long after you finish your dessert. We ordered Grass Jelly No.4 (topped with taro & sweet potato ball, sago, mashed taro & cream) for $7.70. The dish wasn't well presented as we're deceived by the great photo in the menu and thumb up as recommended menu. The taste was very standard, less than average and it didn't blend in properly. It was pretty disappointed dessert for this value to spend. We didn't get good impression from this dessert place and we'll think twice to come back. Waiter took our dish to another table because she didn’t know the table number. We then had to go up to the counter to ask for our order to be made again. The dish that the desert was served on still had the price sticker on it (on the side that the food was served on). Cool to look at, but not worth the visit.
