Baguette

Good quality and friendly staff in general, but I just had the worst rushed coffee. Warm, extra sugary, and the cup was all spilt, it stained my clothes. You need 2 ppl on your coffee machine during rush hours. And yeah, the short-haired lady with the piercings is quite rude, with all these bad reviews about her, why not do something about it, Baguette?

Baguette is my absolute favourite spot to eat at after a long day at Uni. Their food is delicious, fresh and hot. Egg and bacon quiches are sublime, sausage rolls are rich and juicy, paninis are always tasty and yummy. I remember being in a rush one time and having to stuff the panini I ordered into my bag, as I had to catch a train. I pulled the panini out of my bag 20 minutes later and when I opened it up, it was steamy and hot. Their desserts are sensational, my favourites being the vanilla slice, cinnamon roll and passion fruit yogurt. I’m not too sure why there are so many complaints about the customer service here. I think the service is great. They are always so friendly to me, they make sure I receive my order and they even gently caution me not to touch the top of their display counter due to how hot it is. I had one lady behind the counter give me a discount. I hadn’t even asked for it, and I got money off! I rave everyday to my family about how amazing Baguette is. This place is second to none at Flinders Street. The only thing that isn’t ideal about them is probably the price, but at the same time their food is such high quality, that I don’t mind paying for it and for that reason, Baguette gets my praise. Thank you to the lovely ladies at Baguette who served me well this afternoon.

The coffee was excellent but no customer service. RUDE staff. The lady with the short hair with piercing is very RUDE and pathetic. Asking me to pay $1 for hot water what a joke. $1 for HOT WATER in a cup for my baby's bottle to warm his milk. Arrogant.. you should not be in hospitality industry Lady if your attitude towards customer is like that.. Is not because of the $ im furious because its just so cruel to ask payment for hot water!!! Pathetic!

A busy café with speedy service with many lovely sweets!! I can't believe I got both food and coffee in 2 minutes. The staffs are patient, nice, and would always make sure they get my order right. Especially thanks for double-checking my coffee with 'Oat' milk since we both wore masks and it could be quite easy to get it wrong in the noisy station. Highly recommend bircher yogart and Hawaiian schnitzel panini. Thanks a bunch!

Rude cow of a woman to the point it was aggressive. Just what you want at 7.30am - cracked it at me just for paying cash for 1 large coffee with a $5 note, I assured her that it wouldn't happen again ie I will not be back. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Somebody needs to sack this lady or at least remind her that cash is legal tender.
