Pod Cafe

Had brunch here with dad a couple weeks back. Lovely atmosphere and the staff that served us was friendly. Dad's coffee and my almond hot chocolate were delicious. Only issue was that poached eggs are the only option on the menu - dad isn't a fan of runny yolks and asked for scrambled instead but was told that they only offer poached eggs. Is there a reason for this? It seems common for cafes to offer eggs cooked to liking. Dad ended up ordering French toast with maple butter and syrup which was delicious, albeit a little expensive just for French toast. I had the rice pudding which poached fruit which was hearty and delicious. All in all a lovely brunch. 🌺

I thought id take a moment to thank all the crew at POD. Im so glad i have stumbled across a local gem. I drink my coffee straight and embrace every taste the quality is definitely there ! Now not to mention my breakfast today.. i had ordered off menu and it was just what i wanted AT A VERY BUSY TIME. Everything was amazing !! perfect if i could say so myself. Description of the business all round is in accordance with the coffee and food. Wait time really short regardless of the customer influx. I really felt respect and comfortable in this lovely decorated cafe. the owner was quick to introduce himself and is an absolute gentleman. Could not have asked for a better morning/breakfast Much love from your newest loyal customer nick. :)
