Warm tasty scone with raspberry jam and a pot of tea. It’s a shame the teapot spilt my tea every time it was used; please consider replacing them. My mum had a toastie which she enjoyed. Limited indoor seating so be aware that you may have to take lunch outside (even in rainy conditions!)
First visit , very impressed, we had a cooked breakfast which arrived hot and served on hot plates, lovely atmosphere and pleasant service. We bought several pieces of cake to take home VERY NICE home made! Will definitely be visiting again
Another lovely visit to Melbourne Hall Tea Rooms. Delicious food and drink, and friendly, helpful staff. The vegetarian breakfast and the buck rarebit was fantastic and very good value for money. This is our third visit and will definitely come again!
Highly recommended. Best Carrot Cake I have eaten.
We called in for lunch before visiting the gardens. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Excellent soup, wonderfully fresh cheese scones and plenty of tea. Great service. They just need to improve the information on the website as we had to ring ahead to confirm that there wa
The staff are SO kind and friendly everytime we visit Melbourne Tea Rooms. They really are exceptionally caring 🙂 The food is always yummy and the tearoom is quaint and pretty. There are handful of shops. A lake. Walking. It really is picturesque.
Lovely little tearoom. Went here the other day for a quick bite after a walk around Melbourne. Staff are very friendly and polite.
We had the cheese scones with stilton and red onion relish, delicious and the scones were freshly made, still warm!
The bakewell blondies are particularly good too, and
Just had a really delicious lunch at the Melbourne Tea Rooms. A wide choice on the menu and the 'Specials' board. The staff were amazing. A very special place.
Really nice food and friendly staff. My only gripe was it took quite a long time for our order to be taken. I’ll definitely be visiting again for the sausage & bacon cob!
Good service from the staff. Tea room breakfast was great. The room is nice but showing just a hint of being a bit tired and needing a refresh in a few areas. Nothing a quick bit of painting can't sort. Will visit more often.
We went yesterday to check the antique shop and came across this lovely tea room. It was almost 4pm which is their closing time but this lovely staff still accommodated us and took our orders. We had a tea pot for two and a slice of Victoria sponge cake. The cake was really nice and delicious. The t
Lovely cosy little tea rooms open fire very welcoming
Lovely tea room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of cakes. Good menu. Well worth a visit.
Absolutely wonder tea rooms....exception food and service ☺️
Very nice indeed. Nothing spectacular on the menu but it was good wholesome food. Well cooked and presented, good sized portions and at a very fair price. The two young ladies serving were pleasant and obliging. A thoroughly enjoyable lunch which I hope to repeat soon.
Really quant little tea room. Nice surroundings. We went for cake and a drink and were happy with our servings. Although my daughter was a little disappointed with her gluten free option which appeared to be shop bought rather than the home made options with gluten. Will definitely go again.
