Booked here for a joint celebration for both myself and my wife’s birthdays. Joe welcomed us with open arms and seated us to a table close to the bar. Paula was our server today and was very friendly and attentive. It’s been a very long time since I have received service like this and would definitely return again. great quick service. Good selection of food. although the vegan vegetable pizza only had peppers ,onion and tomatoes. Not exactly much of a selection. mushrooms might of added some flavour. The rest of ours meals were excellent. Tasty steak. Great burgers. Also tasty vegan dessert very yum. we were looked after very well.

Couldn't fault it, the food was excellent as was the service. Most surprising was the prices. Where the cost of eating out has gone through the roof, this place is still offering great value with most menu items are £10-13

Just wanted a coffi and ordered chocolate vanilla ice cream sundae with marshmallows and chocolate flake chocolate brownie & chocolate sauce.
I didn't like the artificial cream.

Excellent food and drinks. The service was really good. All in all we had a very enjoyable evening. We took advantage of the 30% off main courses, which made it a very reasonable night out.

Very friendly service. Quick service we did not have to wait long for the food to arrive. The food was lovely well presented and lots of choice and very enjoyable. Drinks was served to our table. Treacle kept checking that everything was ok for us. Great service!

Didn't eat but the menu looked comprehensive and reasonable. Beer was varied and cheap. The plumbing in the loo was odd though!

Since my first visit, I have been back to the Water meadow and have had a great time here with value for money to boot. The kids section is great and was well enjoyed by my 5 year old. As it's enclosed too we could relax and enjoy the food and atmosphere. Great local pub and looking forward to the next visit.

Came for a light lunch with family. We were seated quickly and our Server Leo was very efficient and friendly. Food was good and delivered quickly. Leo made us feel very welcome and was very helpful without being over bearing. Would recommend and would visit again

Ashleigh was amazing! We used to visit all the time and it was average! Today everything was fantastic , service really good food really good! We wasn't planning on staying on food but saw another table so stayed!

The Water Meadow is so welcoming, lovely and clean and every member of staff we spoke to was lovely, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Plenty of parking available next to a couple of shops with all the essentials.
The starters were really impressive, nice and fresh, hot and well-seasoned. The mains were great as well, plus everything is really fairly priced!
I love places that actually give you a comprehensive drinks menu, most places just ask you what you want with no idea of the selection or price you’re paying so this was really good.
Overall definitely coming back as we live a 5 minute walk away so no excuse not to really 🤭

A lively , comfortable, friendly venue. Decent menu, tasty food and 5 Star service. What's not to like? My only question to myself is why on earth did I wait so long for a return visit?

From start to finish the staff were fantastic! From the guy who confirmed our booking at the door and showed us to our table, to the friendly and extremely attentive waitress(unfortunately can't remember her name) couldn't do enough for us. Both my son and my Mum dropped their forks on the floor 🙈 and our waitress saw this and immediately picked them up and replaced them within seconds. Can't thank her enough.
The bar staff were lovely and friendly and the food was very reasonably priced and good quality. We all had a lovely meal and will definitely be returning with the whole family soon. Highly recommended 5*

Always an awesome place for our big group to go. Our server Chloe was so lush and made sure everyone was sorted… extra patient with the little ones! I’m a picky eater and she made sure to recommend things I might like so that I could enjoy aswell😊 next time we go asking for her!
