Nice little cafe in Melrose opposite the abbey. There is a car park next to the building that can fill up quickly on weekends. The cafe itself has several tables inside and out. They also have free wifi and allow dogs. The food is pretty good and the coffee is nice. We both enjoyed the pancakes with
Stopped for coffe and cake before a walk. Great service. Scones with fresh cream were amazing. Coffe was tasty too. We had our dog with us and they welcomed us with no problem.
After a gentle walk round the town we stopped at this cafe for some lunch.
Mushroom and tarragon soup. Followed up with a cappuccino and a scone.
Food is delicious and the service was very attentive and friendly.

Cracking place to stop
very conscientious about serving vegan meals and making sure all components including butter are vegan. Delicious soup, salad, and sandwiches. Please have more vegan desserts.
We had some afternoon tea and coffe in this nice quaint cafe. Oh and their ice cream was delicious and creamy. Definitely worth to stop and relax.

My wife and I have eaten here 3 times during our stay this week which speaks for itself. We have a small dog and ate outside enjoying the good weather twice and indoors on our other visit as dogs are only able to access the front part of the indoor restaurant. The food and service are excellent and

Had a delicious crispy chicken with spicy mayo toasted ciabatta and a side of their beautiful rosemary salted fries. Wasn't easy to decide what to order from the lovely menu.

Was busy, however order taken swiftly. Area clean. Staff were attentive. Tables spaced appropriately. Fancied a bit carbs after exercise so had mac/cheese with bacon, which was clearly home made and not pre packed as is sometimes case in busy food outlets. Was there with family and all enjoyed food.

Lovely cafe, friendly staff waiting to serve us and very knowledgeable about the food offer. Lemon drizzle cake portion tiny however, hence only four stars. Will be back though.
