I really enjoyed it. Really good bar staff, she is nice and polite. Food was amazing. The atmosphere was cosy and chilled. Great selection of local beer. This place is a 16th Century traditional English pub located in Burrough on the hill, Melton Mowbray.
Lunch A pub with top credentials. This fabulous little village pub has been on our list for a while. Just looking at the chef's pics each week makes your mouth water. We could resist no longer and as it was a sunny day decided to venture out to here. We don't go to places for its insta selfie wal
This is the best pub in the area. Whether you come here for food, or just nipping in for a few drinks, it is a great venue. Although I do find that you can't come here for just ONE pint. Dom has done a great job on the decor and is happy to chat to all customers, the FOH team are really friendly and
Amazing amazing amazing!! The only word to describe this place.. Sunday lunch is in a class of its own. So many wonderful choices out of the ordinary no safe options here .. so many places offer boring starters run of the mill etc .. not here .. love it well done everyone service first class too
Great food. Nice designed menu. Creative and delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to my allergy requests.
Nice cosy pub, portions small, but tasty. Not much choice for vegetarians. Staff lovely.
It's a really kid friendly pub. The food was well priced and came out quickly and the staff were lovely.
Excellent food, very friendly service. Choices on the menu were a little limited but all in all a very enjoyable experience
Awesome Pub! Loved everything about it. Warm, cozy and beautiful. Food is extremely yummy. Staff friendly and truly happy to see you. The Parish beer they sell......delicious!
Excellent beer selection, including Parish brewery located next door! Ate from lunch menu - all cooked fresh to order. Great stop-off for lunch after Burrough Hill iron age hill fort.
First time after a recommendation and this place is an utter Gem. The food is incredible and the service is top notch! Will definitely be back šŸ˜
Friendly service, lovely food. Pleasant, cosy surroundings. Whatā€™s not to like?
I never regret booking for a meal hereā€¦ what those chefs can do with a potato alone is phenomenalā€¦ looking for good chips look no furtherā€¦ Iā€™d got as far as to say best chips in England! The rest of the menu is also delicious not to leave anything out but make sure you get chips! Thank you all at S&
Fabulous! Lunchtime set menu was well priced and delicious. The goats cheese and black pudding starter was yummy and the bavette was perfectly cooked. We really enjoyed the chunky chips which were sooo crispy. Looking forward to going back.
Ideal place to feed and drink if you go for a walk round the iron age hill fort nearby with its spectacular views. An Interesting simple menu is served up by friendly willing staff in a pleasant space. Pricing is toppy for what is on the right side of fairly good basic food but a group of three adul
