The food was excellent, the staff was very welcoming and the atmosphere was warm and cosy. Lots of activities for children, such as little park, animals and huge field. Dogs are also welcomed. The farm shop sells fresh baked bread, very good British quality meat, farm food. There is a flower shop and a coffee shop. Definitely recommend them to families with children as they will have plenty of fun.

We decided to come here after our trip to picking strawberries was cancelled and was in need of lunch to feed the kids. An absolute gem just on the outskirts of Melton Mowbray. With fantastic food choices for both adults and children. There is also a separate coffee van for those that come riding in by bike for a quick pick me up. The food was soo unbelievably good. With generous portions and really well presented salads. And I couldn’t believe how fast it came out, maybe waited 10 minutes. On site they have the small farm shop and grocery of fresh vegetables and fruit. Along with local produce. While the adults mingle, kids can safely play in both play areas as the whole area outside is fenced off and surrounded by the farm animals, which include Alpacas, donkeys and sheep.

What an amazing place hidden gem!! We stumbled across this place by accident whilst hungry woth the children in the car, upon arrival the shop and Caffee look really inviting staff were great very helpful plenty of room to sit and eat, it was busy but we still managed to find a table. The kids can go and play outside in the park and various activities you can see the donkeys in their field. Food choice was great something for everyone even fussy children. It all seems to be local produce the cakes look amazing loads to choose from and again they all look home made. Overall great place to visit with children or just for some good quality home made healthy food

Oops reviewed the farm in error. Went to another farm shop cafe yesterday which was good but this was better. When we arrived at 11:45 we found out brunch was still going and lunch didn’t start till 12:30pm. But waitress showed us to a table, took our orders for hot drinks and gave us the lunch menu to browse. Coffee was hot and good and came with double cream as requested. So we could sit with a leisurely kindle read till lunch. She took our order early so food came at 12:30 on the dot. Both of us had the steak which came with garlic butter. Tender and yummy. Plenty of crispy chips for me and wife had side salad substitute. Finished with excellent Victoria sponge that had less jam and so wasn’t too sweet as they can often be. Despite very busy place, service was prompt and attentive. Butcher in the shop almost had me sold with the delicious looking take home sausage rolls pies and samosas. Plenty of parking

Lovely place, was really busy when we visited (about 10am on a sunday) for a spot of breakfast. we were served quickly and food arrived promptly. Top quality ingredients, best black pudding I've had in a long time. Staff were very pleasant and the place was clean. Didn't get chance to look properly round the farm shop but the fresh produce looked very good quality. Lots of parking in a lovely environment. Would definitely visit again when in the area

A lovely place to go with a friend/ friends or family. Breakfast are genuinely good value. Blummin nice bacon. Wouldn't recommend extras as £1.20 for a single hasbrown is a little steep. Staff are genuinely friendly, even when they where solving problems.

Stopped for a coffee and ice cream mid-bike-ride. Seems like a nice place with good facilities. Cakes looked great. Update: insanely tasty Scotch egg and chocolate orange tiffin
