Popped in for lunch and could see that the pub was very busy. Restaurant was fully booked and bar tables all taken. Nevertheless the staff spotted a table for two becoming vacant and quickly turned it round for us. Attentive service and after tasting the food I can see why it is so busy. Really flavoursome and well cooked food. Yes, you pay a bit more for it, but this is proper gastropub food and not bar snacks. Would definitely recommend.

Me and my partner love it , we have a English Springer and he comes with us everywhere , so being a dog friendly pub/wine bar means we go for a few drinks and Bennie (dog ) comes along Staff are friendly and attentive and always say hello to Bennie. Good food so do recommend it

Came to Ebbsfleet at a hotel for Speedfest and the founder of the car club I'm in is local here. He suggested I stop in to The Cricketers. We had an awesome meal and as a chef myself I knew everything we had for dinner was fresh and homemade. Excellent meal and my wife loved her dessert. Next year for speedfest we will definitely be back for another visit at your pub.

Popped in, all a bit last minute for a Sunday late lunch. Staff very friendly, polite and welcoming, found us a perfect little table. Food came up well timed (not rushed), beautifully presented and most of all delicious. All in all couldn't fault it and would recommend a visit

Our band (The Strides) just played the Beer Festival at the Cricketers and it's one of the nicest places we've ever played. Lovely location, friendly helpful staff and a great crowd.. Will definitely come back for a meal with my Mrs.

Came here with the Husband and Dog on a Sunny Sunday afternoon. We were booked in to the dog friendly library area but opted to sit outside since the sun was out. We shared nachos for starters. He had cod and chips and I had the beef ciabatta. Can't fault the food. The staff were all very attentive. In particular what I can only assume was either the manager or owner (South African accent I think??) was going around interacting with everybody and made it feel really welcoming and friendly. He was super friendly and funny and certainly stood out to us. Thank you, we'll be back!

We’ve had lunch and dinner here a few times now and it’s consistently excellent food and service. We’ve tried everything from Sunday roast to more delicate fish dishes and favourites like mac n cheese and nachos etc. Food is always really well executed and well above average for pub food. Service is always friendly and professional too. Highly recommend this place.

Back in Kent for the weekend, promised my friends that we would get boots on the ground, to check out a suitable venue for us Christmas doo. Had been in before- a few years ago. Had a drink and scoped the place out. As good as I remember it. Nice homely feel, food looked as good as I remember and staff are warm and friendly. They have a sister pub, the Chaser Inn at Shipbourne, which also has the wow factor. We will not doubt book the part of the building called “ The Library”. As you can see from the photo’s, segregated and not a thoroughfare.

The Cricketers Inn is a nice little experience. My family and I went for a couple of drinks this afternoon, the Landlord is a very nice, polite gentleman, and the bar staff were very nice and helpful. We didn't try the food, so we shall return to give that a go and maybe this review will go up to a 5? Who knows? There is wheel chair access at the back by the car parking, but there is a step down to the bottom of the beer garden, which is a bit of a negative for those are looking for full disability access. The toilets are upstairs, so be careful with how many you knock back, be sure to keep your footing. We are looking forward to returning to try the food out. A very nice pub for the family, in a lovely location. Also an added bonus, this pub is DOG FRIENDLY!

Another great visit to The Cricketers tonight! The food was amazing (as usual) and notable mentions must also go to the fantastic staff: the very polite young man who greeted us and showed us to our table, our friendly & helpful waitress with the nose ring who took our order and helped with my wife’s allergen requirements and finally to big beardy guy who served our food and also to extra care to double check allergens before serving our deserts. Wonderful experience. Thank you!

We came here for an Easter and Birthday lunch. I have to say, this must be the first place where the service was better than the food (even if the food was excellent)! Our waitress looked after us really well and was really attentive. We had delicious food and we felt very accommodated. They were very generous with their fish and chips portion sizes and would happily come back again.

We went after a recommendation, and we are glad we did, the food was excellent and well presented. The only reason we have not given 5 stars is they forgot our starter, and we felt a little rushed. Saying this we would highly recommend the cricketers and would gladly return.

Well with a visit. Very clean and tidy, real fires in the cooler months. Food was great. Felt like the place was very well cared for. One of the best views from the gents I've ever experienced.

Smiley friendly staff, service charge already added to the bill so no complicated maths to do. Good food well cooked although for me the vegetables could have been cooked a little bit longer 😁👌👍
