We held our wedding at The Secret Garden and we couldn’t be happier! From our initial meeting, to collecting our wedding bits the day after the ceremony, the staff couldn’t be any more helpful, accommodating or friendly if they tried! No request was too silly and they bent over backwards to ensure our day was perfect. The food was to die for and our wedding cake was simply stunning.
I cannot rate this venue highly enough. Laura and her team are simply amazing and just such kind,lovely, hard working people.
Thank you so so so much to the Secret Garden for everything you have done for us. You truly gave us the wedding we always pictured xxxx
Visited yesterday for my birthday treat. Afternoon tea was excellent, staff courteous and would recommend the place to eat.
Went here yesterday with my daughter for a Birthday treat for me, beautiful & charming setting, staff very friendly & nothing was to much trouble, afternoon tea was lovely plenty of choice, all very fresh, scones were still warm, endless supply of tea & coffee
Would highly recommend, will be going back.
Visited for the first time yesterday, a little treat for my mum for Mother's Day. We had such a lovely experience and loved The Secret Garden. The food was delicious, the staff very welcoming and friendly. We had a meal from the set menu but could mix with the daily menu. Plenty of choices to cater for everyone's taste. Such a beuatiful setting and lovely atmosphere while dining and lots of choices for lunch. Had a wander around the gardens before leaving. We will definitely be visiting again, maybe try the afternoon tea next time ☺️
Took my Nannie (& Grandad) to the Secret Garden for her Christmas treat. Such a beautiful setting and a very scrumptious afternoon tea. Fantastic array of cakes & treats with lots to try for all. Staff were very friendly & nothing was too much trouble with top ups of tea, and cream for our scones.
Amazing experience all round. Would highly recommend, and we will definitely be coming back to see it in warmer weather!
We attended the Fawlty Towers dining experience last night and it was truly fantastic! The performance was absolutely hilarious and I would highly recommend it. Also though, the Secret Garden was a beautiful setting, the food was tasty and the staff attentive. A brilliant evening thank you.
Came for breakfast for my mother in-law's birthday. DELICIOUS food, the best breakfast around (not cheap- but not too pricey and DEFINATELY worth it!) The staff were so friendly and welcoming! Can't wait to have an excuse to go back!
Came here today for a friend's birthday , the afternoon tea was absolutely delicious from the warm cheese straws ,sandwiches, warm scones, the staff also fantastic they could not do enough for you , definitely would come back .
We had our wedding here on Saturday and it was such a lovely day. We had an issue with our DJ cancelling the day before the wedding and the staff here immediately sorted it out. Everything went seamlessly on the day, the food was delicious, the cake made by the chef looked fabulous and it all really had the wow factor. Thanks so much secret garden!

We recently had our wedding at the Secret Garden in August. The day was amazing and the venue did everything we asked of them and more. Our meetings throughout the planning were so helpful and kept us on track. All the staff were friendly and made sure we had the best day. The venue handled our food and did us a spectacular cake as well. We are so happy we had our wedding at this venue, they made the whole process so much easier for us and gave us a wonderful day.
Thank you to all the staff at the venue, you made the day run so smoothly and kept the party going right till the very end. Thank you for being our dream venue.

We organised a surprise 30th for my friend at The Secret Garden today. The venue staff were so amazing with everything from the moment we called up to book. They helped everything to run smoothly.
When when we arrived on the day we were greeted by Russell who, when challenged by my friend about why we were in the Glass House and not the main restaurant (she thought we were going for Afternoon Tea), gave a believable and brilliant response that deserves an Oscar nomination!
Russell in particular was great with showing us the venue the week before and talking us through any questions we had. Everyone loved the food, they catered for all dietary requirements and ensured all guests had a good time. I will absolutely recommend this venue and will definitely be back in the future!
I don't know where to start, from beginning to end our experience with The Secret Garden team has been delightful. We want to say MASSIVE thank you for making our wedding planning stress free & helping us make such special memories.
We really loved how much input we could have with every detail of the wedding and how helpful the team are when you need their help. The setup was immaculate and exactly how we had envisioned it to look, we ended up with a perfect relaxed 'Garden Party' wedding we'd always wanted.
My husband and I are so lucky to have found such an amazing venue to hold our wedding and would recommend The Secret Garden to anyone looking for a venue.

Alisha and her team smashed it, we had a perfect day that was relaxed but seamless. Every single staff member was charming, the food was incredible and from our first viewing to our big day they made us feel confident that they could pull it off (which they really did).

We were the wedding DJs at The Secret Garden for Sofia & Barry at the weekend. We absolutley love this for a wedding venue!! Great sized room for a party. All their staff were also amazing! Very friendly, professional and helpful.

We got married at the wonderful Secret Garden last week. Even though the weather was against us, we had the most perfect day. Josie and the team were outstanding with their attention to detail and ensuring that our vision for the day was delivered.
The venue speaks for itself, as it is stunning and is very special to us anyway, as it is the last place we had afternoon tea before my mum passed away in 2017.
The staff are very attentive and organised. They ensured that we had everything we needed and nothing was too much effort on the day. They went over and above for all of us.
The food was amazing and the feedback from our guests about the menus on offer was great, the best wedding food they've had! So, compliments to the chefs!
All in all we didn't want it to end. The glasshouse was very cosy and intimate once the sun had gone down and the perfect romantic setting for the evening.
We had the best day and would highly recommend the Secret Garden for a wedding!! Thank you to Josie and the team once again! ❤️ 💛
Our wedding at The Secret Garden was perfect from start to finish. The team were brilliant, organised, so friendly and incredibly professional on the day. The venue itself is stunning, it was the most perfect backdrop to our special day. We had a lot of guests saying how the food was the best wedding food they'd ever eaten. We were married at this beautiful venue in early October and we really couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.
We had been so impressed with how Harry had catered to our needs in the build up to the wedding that we were not in the least bit concerned that the day wouldn't go ahead seamlessly. All of the staff are so friendly and helped to create such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. We have spoken to a lot of our guests since the wedding and nearly all of them have commented on how attentive and outgoing the staff were.
The grounds of the venue are stunning. If you're lucky like we were and the weather holds out you can get married in the middle of the beautiful gardens. All of the children (and a lot of adults) had a blast exploring the place and playing with all of the lawn games that the Secret Garden provides.
Another thing we were really impressed with was the food. The dishes are interesting and well thought out. All of them delicious!
I honestly cannot recommend this place highly enough. The whole thing was so smoothly executed, eveyone knows what they are doing and it really does show. I'd like to say a massive thanks to Harry and the team for making our day so special!

We had a smashing day! Felt totally confident in the team and they looked after us well. We were very chilled throughout wedding planning and knowing we had a good venue was one reason.
The Secret Garden in Ashford is one of my favourite wedding venues to photograph at. I love the gardens with all the flowers and the glasshouse for intimate wedding ceremonies! I can't wait to return here this Summer. It's always a treat documenting weddings here! Olly (Olly Knight Photography)
We got married at the secret garden in June and had the best day ever. The venue itself is beautifully maintained and all of our guests commented how lovely it was. But what makes a wedding at the secret garden even better than just the surroundings is the team there. Our wedding had been postponed twice due to COVID and the team were so helpful with postponing and also helping us with all the little details on the day. We really felt valued and looked after as customers. Thank you!
