Beautiful present food, local & delicious. A relaxed atmosphere with personal and friendly service. Reasonable priced and would recommend booking a table so you don't miss out on the experience of eating here.

Not been here for 20 years. Booked it for my best friend's birthday. She's awkward (a coeliac). Was every bit as good as I remembered it. My friend had exactly what she wanted off the menu, no compromise. I will not leave it so long to return.

It's a fantastic restaurant with amazing food. The service was friendly and excellent. Very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend paying a visit, but make sure to book ahead. You will not be disappointed.

We had two gorgeous meals at this restaurant in late September - the food and the ambience (and the wine!) absolutely perfect. I had scallops on the first occasion, and duck on the second. Thoroughly recommend!

Just had a truly delicious two course meal . I had the monkfish and my wife had hake followed by two scrumptious puddings. Excellent friendly service

Lovely little restaurant tucked away. Quite small and plain but the food for me was excellent. My wife had the steak which she ordered as rare ( she normally orders medium ) because she had read previous reviews saying the chef tends to overcook steaks. It arrived as she likes it medium to medium rare so that paid off. I had the crab pot starter and pork fillet for main both very nice indeed. Pudding was a syrup sponge with clotted cream and a sticky toffee pudding both very good too. Definitely recommend and will return soon. Excellent value for money and a great choice

Fantastic restaurant with delicious food and friendly service (top banter from staff). Cosy restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Great value so got 3 courses for £34 and each course was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed and would return if I was in the area again.

Wow! This place is amazing. We had the set price a course meal. Each one was absolutely delicious. I had a chicken satay skewer for starter and the sauce was a taste sensation. I then had a tender bream with the most tantalising sauce, and my partner had fresh sole, which was also very good. The desserts were also beautifully presented with mini biscuit salamanders, all wonderful!

Another fantastic meal here. Great food, attentive staff.. Never disappointed with the food and choices and not over priced, great value. We over indulged by having a dessert which is rare... but so worth it. Thank you.. was partners birthday dinner. 🙂
