This is a small, quaint restaurant which caters from sandwiches, toasted or not to 3 coarse meals too. The service was lovely and friendly with a relaxed atmosphere, whilst the food was hot and beautifully cooked. A little gem !!
We both had a lovely vegetarian evening meal here.
Traditional menu and calm and polite service.
Good dogs welcome, that was a plus.
I feel reading a lot of the other reviews people have been very unfairly judgmental. This venue a small and independently run establishment and therefore that has to be taken into consideration.
Unlike ‘Table-Table/beefeater’ style restaurants where they have 10s of staff members, the venues are big and spacious and everything is cheap and microwaved - independent restaurants, cafes & shops cannot be compared too.
The service was friendly and accommodating considering we hadn’t booked, we had a dog and it was Friday night. YOU, are welcome to read the menu from outside and make your choice, or you could eat at home and make it yourself!
We had two very clean plates and left happy to be fed and watered and having not had to do the dishes!
I feel people who have perhaps not owned or run a business themselves, are VERY quick to judge.
Thank you for your meal.
We found this place by chance and enjoyed a lovely pot of tea and toasted teacakes. The interior is quirky and homely and we enjoyed a very enjoyable chat with Linda.
What a brilliant wee restaurant 😊 ate here 5 times in a week had a different meal every night and all were awesome .
There are only 6 tables so best book in advance . Lovely couple run it, Anne is the chef and Linda serves . Well worth a visit 😊
Just had a brilliant cream tea here, no idea why the place was empty! Don't be fooled if it's quiet, fab scones we won't be needing dinner. Thanks for the lovely welcome & service.
Dog & child friendly too, which made our life considerably easy.
Quality food. Cooked to order. Be patient you are on holiday and you won't be disappointed.
Spotted this place when we were collecting some fish from the excellent fishmonger on the quayside and decided to give it a go.
Friendly service, interesting menu and good prices.
We both had scallops to start which were very tasty and cheaper than many places locally.
Mains were a grilled fish platter - pollock, plaice, sardine, salmon and prawns- nicely cooked with a side salad and they kindly supplied new potatoes as opposed to chips. My partner opted for the grilled tuna steak with prawns and chips - very tasty but she felt a little overcooked.
Dog friendly as well.
Very much worth considering
So glad we found this little place - stayed in Mevagissey for two weeks and visited here four times as the food really was amazing 😘 small but quaint - it really was spot on - we enjoyed every meal !!!!! Thank you both !!
So worth a visit 👌👌
Small bistro in meviguessey a disappointing toastie asked for ham and tomato on brown bread served white toastie with cheese and tomato no garnish to speak of 5.95 .Again asked for 175mls of sauvignon blanc instead of 250mls total bill £17+ felt not worth the money
We really enjoyed this little bistro unfortunately we weren't looking for a main meal because the choice of dishes was amazing, but we did have a savoury cheese tea served with warm scones and 2 types of cheese and a side dish of pickle absolutely beautiful 👌
