The Zetland - Middlesbrough - Photo album

Was so grateful to the fabulous manager of the Zetland Brasserie today. We only had a short time before catching a train from over the road and he just said 'don't worry. Take a seat and I'll get you our smoked salmon & Asian slaw with some Irish soda bread as it's quick but really tasty and filling
One of the most beautiful restaurants in the UK! Main dining room is hidden away at the back in a beautiful tiled room. Food is high quality and great value. Really relaxing atmosphere and a lovely pub at the front of the building as well. Would highly recommend and great to see the Zetland at the h
Fantastic food and great service, it was a really lovely evening, everything was fresh and hot and it was very good value for money as well! I tried Black Pudding Au Poivre which I'd never even heard of and it was honestly amazing! To top it off they mentioned crème brulé was also an option for pudd
We booked the brasserie for our Wedding Breakfast and we're glad we did! From the outset, Philip was so helpful in understanding what we wanted and was incredibly accommodating when planning a meal for 40+ people including vegetarian, vegan and and coeliac guests. The brasserie room is frankly gorg
What a good find! We enjoyed a wonderful meal at a reasonable price, freshly cooked and friendly knowledgeable service. The building has been beautifully restored - loved the tiles! Within east reach of both the station and central Middlesbrough. Highly recommend!
Came for a meal on Saturday night for my wife's birthday. Absolutely fantastic. Had the pre 6pm 3-course menu for £16 which is the best value for money around. Food was amazing, staff were really friendly and the decor was great. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody looking for somewhere
Fantastic. Right opposite the train station, but that's not the main reason I'd go back. The food was incredible - try the set menu. Delicious. Excellent staff - professionals that are very good at what they do.
3 friends enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch in the Brasserie today - it was EXCELLENT! Beautifully presented and every course was super tasty..12 out of 10 to the Chef and his team. The stunning Victorian decor of this handsome 19th Century building, plus waiter Philip's wonderful stories of Middles
Just had a meal in Christies Brasserie @ The Zetland. Outstanding service and beautifully restored venue. Great food at reasonable price too. Highly recommended
Philip and staff were exceedingly hard working, helpful and friendly. Lovely food and drink. Interior is looking really good. Great for occasions with photos. Fine ceramic tiles.
Stunning decor. Beautiful hotel. Absolutely loved it. Very helpful staff, great landlord. Friendly and courteous. Rich creamy coffee and delicious iced cider. Thank you!
Great service, lovely home cooked style food at very reasonable prices. Interesting decor, very clean. The only reason I have only given 4 stars and not 5 on this occasion was the dining area and toilets smelt quite badly of damp during our visit. Hopefully this was a one off as the food and service
A great find whilst waiting for our train, it's just a short walk to the station. Fabulous old building. We had a drink in the bar which was very comfortable and good beer. Also had a peek at the restaurant which was beautiful. Really friendly welcome.
Authentic tiled decor remains from earlier times helps to create a nostalgic ambience. The service was very good and the food was delicious and we'll presented.
Top notch food in a beautiful venue. The owner, Phil, is a great host and pulls out all the stops to make you feel welcome. Visiting The Zetland is always a pleasure.
Great old I'd guess Victorian public house renovated to a brilliant standard while retaining all of the original characteristic of the original features. Well done. The food and atmosphere are compimented well by the lovely staff are very friendly and helpful and can't do enough for you. The prices
Wonderful Sunday lunch, all 3 courses were delicious. Service was attentive and courteous. Well worth £21 and in such a beautiful Victorian setting. A first class experience that I highly recommend.
Popped for a spot of lunch today after hearing some good things about the food, ambience etc.... all I can say is it was absolutely top drawer. Great food, great service, Philip and his team really looked after us. Can't recommended this place enough...thank you for a lovely lunch experience.
