Visited for lunch on a quiet friday, and must say I was staggered by the place. Server was professional but exceedingly warm and friendly. The bread we ordered as an appetiser was warm, fresh, soft and so delicious. Lunch portions were generous, and the fresh salad accompaniment to my fish finger sandwich was a particular standout for it’s luscious bitter freshness. They have a brilliant fine wine selection, where it seems that each has been selected with care and purpose. I will absolutely be returning, I couldn’t find fault at all!

We went on a Thursday night , the food was excellent, and wow, what a wine list they have .
They have wine tasting nights for future reference .
Their is a car park to the side of the pub, and there is a wheelchair access to the building.
Would we return is the question ? Of course we would , it ticks all of the boxes

One of the best food I've had in the UK for its price! Was fortunate enough to get a table during their teeside restaurant week's special (3 courses for 20). Terrine was amazing, reminds me of an asian dish that I grew up eating. It was just the good amount of salt, with a blend of spices 💯 Went for the pork main and it was savoury, not too salty, and the gravy had a depth of flavour that is 💯. Sticky toffee pudding was spot on. Great ambience, great food. What more can I ask for.
Revisited after 7 months and did not disappoint!
Fried baby squid was spot on! Flavourful aioli, crispy squid, with a really interesting sesame and bean sprout salad!
Mussels were juicy, sauce was absolutely amazing!
Dessert was chocolate ganache with banana sorbet. It was a delicate balance between rich velvety chocolate and the refreshing, not too sweet banana sorbet. 10/10!

Took my best friend for a birthday treat. The service was exceptional maybe a little slow at points but nothing to complain about. After discussing starters with our waiter we decided to have a couple of delicious cocktails in the sun before coming inside for food (decision made due to a slightly over friendly wasp outside).
The starters were delicious, the capers really made the prawn starter. The muscles starter were lovely and creamy.
I had the lamb main and my friend the pork, both were very tender and succulent, the pork crackling was cooked to perfection. This all came with roast new potatoes and green veg.
The desserts were beautiful. A white chocolate and strawberry 🍓 cheesecake like dessert. And a crème brulé with raspberries and all butter shortcake biscuits.
With cocktails each to start, two (med-small) glasses of wine each then 1 cocktail and a ginger beer came to about £161 which considering the quality of the food isn't bad.
Do recommend and I would definitely go back.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a fantastic meal with the family last Saturday evening at Chadwicks. The staff are friendly, attentive and professional, food perfect, wine excellent, so many to choose from. At the end of the meal, they gave us a little surprise anniversary treat as well even though we had only mentioned it in conversation as we ordered our food. Highly recommended and top of our list for meals out.

Our third visit to Chadwick's, the first being for dinner and second for lunch, both which where brilliant. Amazing food and drinks. Our latest was for our wedding reception.
Helen and her team provided us with an unforgettable experience from the initial enquiry, menu selection with adjustments for children and dietary requirements.
This led us through to our reception dinner which was perfectly timed, amazing service and food that was perfect. So perfect nothing was left by anyone.
The Chadwick's team could have done nothing more for us, looking after us both and our guests.
An amazing day rounded off by an amazing team.
Thank you.

Been again for Christmas fayre it was fantastic.
Only one slight problem the place could do with being heated up a bit, wasn't too warm.

Chadwicks Inn Maltby is a real gem of a place. We were a party of 10 celebrating a special occasion. The staff are extremely professional and the service was top notch. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was exquisite so much so that even a couple of our fussy eaters still managed to eat everything and we all left empty plate. A good sign to good food.
Portions are of a good size and the wine pairing was excellent. So compliments to the chef and staff. Thoroughly recommend and 5 out of 5 for everything. I only wish I lived nearby as I'd definitely be visiting more times.
