The Stainton Inn And Tea Rooms - Middlesbrough - Photo album

Wonderful local village pub. Friendly staff, nice welcoming atmosphere, and 3 great cask ales on. Didn't eat but plan to go back for the carvery.
Had a Great time at The Stainton Pub. We had a family members 90th Birthday lunch in there, Paula and the rest of the team were amazing providing our own Carvery and bringing drinks, tea and coffee around! Great setup and nothing was too much trouble! Fantastic!!
The Sunday carvery is amazing, the meat of beautifully moist and flavoursome, the vegetables are cooked to perfection, me and my wife will definitely be back
Nice tea rooms with simple homemade cakes in a balanced afternoon tea that wasn't too sweet. (Vegetarian friendly as well) Worth a visit
Staying locally, I was disappointed with the offering at my hotel so I ventured (less than a mile) to The Stainton after having read reviews whilst looking for somewhere else to dine. The food was lovely, I indulged myself with the chilli and pepperoni topped Chicken Parmo - Wow! Not too spicy but
We had a beautiful lunch today here. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. I had the sirloin steak which was cooked exactly as I wanted it, another had the No chicken chicken on the vegan menu and it was delicious another the chicken parmo. Again perfectly cooked and not oily or greasy at all
Lovely bar waitress Sarah very nice. My friend Jack recommended it so I went there
Lovely owners, and staff who treat you as friends. Truly great local experience, traditional pub, set in an historical 1800's building. They have a lovely outdoor area too for summer, and they are dog friendly. They have a pool table, and a juke box. It can get busy on weekends and can be a bit loud
Fabulous food, husband said best hotshot parmo heโ€™d had. Service with a smile too, didnโ€™t get the waitress name but she was fun, couldnโ€™t ask for more. We will be back ๐Ÿ˜‚
Really friendly atmosphere and the service was first class. The carvery was incredible and the cauliflower cheese is out of this world!
First time for the Sunday carvery and won't be the last. Lovely pub, staff and food was delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹
Lovely afternoon tea to start the celebrations for my 60th Birthday. Staff were all very friendly and very attentive. Hope to go back for Sunday lunch soon. Thank you. Xx

A nice Sunday lunch carvery with few pints of Wainwright ale. Well worth a visit. Thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š.
We were actually having a meal at the village kitchen bit disappointed not as good a standard as last time we were in got the same starter king prawns greasy not as lightly battered. Chicken and chorizo pasta nothing like what was said on menu was literally solid stoge. Pepperoni pizza a bit of a ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
