Sorry, it's a bit of a story, but.... I came here for food a few months ago and was served the wrong steak, badly cooked, and took ages.
My most recent visit could not be further from this.
I don't know if there is a newish menu or new chef, but the food was fabulous! The order was slightly wrong as
Not a bad pub, meals are pretty good. Carers used to get free coffee/tea, but not anymore. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Attended a family function in the conservatory.A very warm atmosphere,pleasant surroundings and a good selection of drinks available. Would recommend.
I had one of the best Sunday Lunches I've had in a long time,I would highly recommend 👌
Haven't been in since covid. It has all been done out great pint reasonably priced and still as friendly as ever.
Never knew this place existed. A staff member at The Cleveland told us. My wife and I absolutely love the place, the service and the staff were great as well as the food we ordered. We will be using this venue permanent from now on and surely letting our friends and relatives know. A big thank you.
Had Sunday lunch! Tasted all fresh like a home cooked dinner. Meat was really tasty and tender. Got everything you would expect and more. Huge troff of fresh veg and hug of gravy. Really impressed and will defy be going again. Amazing value!!
I ordered a take away sunday lunch first time we have tried it from the yellow rose, my husband thought the veg was to the bite (but he is just been fussy lol) I thought it was nice apart from the broccoli yes that was a bit crunchy, but over all we enjoyed it just a nice portion yes we would get it

Organised a party for my dad's 10 year business anniversary and the manager helped with all the setting up. She also checked on us throughout the evening to check we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend the conservatory for private functions.
Attended a surprise 30th in the conservatory decent size, the bar was absolutely packed loads if ppl but overall a good night!
Yellow Rose was a good night atmosphere was good staff friendly food good would come again
A decent pub offering a good range of drinks and food with helpful staff. Caters to the younger crowd but none the worse for that.
