Soooo friendly. Foods lovely and well priced
We have been using this takeaway for about 4 years now and always enjoy, The dishes tend to be more oily (not watery as another reviewer said) than other indian takeaways, so if you don't like this then its not for you, but if you do then you're in for a real treat . The Naga curries are my absolute favourite.
The staff are friendly and polite. I can't comment on delivery as I always collect, however I have never had a bad, missed or incorrect meal order in all of that time.
I've used Shapla for years and never had a bad experience. In my opinion it's one of the best Indian takeaways in the country and one which I use as a benchmark to compare other Indian takeaways wherever I go; I'm very sceptical about the small amount of negative reviews here and I see it's a minority, I guess foul play is present and I'm probably correct judging by the public majority vote of 5 stars. My favourite dish is the Chicken Jalfrazi, Pilau Rice and Plane Nan Bread and therefore when making a comparison elsewhere I order this dish.

I made the mistake of opting for a sit down Indian meal in a restaurant;.... big mistake, cost twice as much, and the food wasnt in the same legue as Shapla, biggest eating mistake of my life. Double the price just for sitting in a strange place full of false waiters performing for their tips? Awkward if you ask me... take away forever from this day forth!! If you havent 'taken away' from Shapla I will be stunned if your dissatisfied.
THEY ARE NOT OPEN ON TUESDAY ALTHOUGH THE MENU SAYS ‘OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK’ (slightly annoying guys)
Had a fantastic meal tonight chicken madras and lamb rezala loads of meat and the sauces were spot on 10 out of 10
The best Desi takeaway in the town, full of flavors , superb quality, generous portion and a great customer service.
