Tomahawk Steakhouse Acklam Hall - Middlesbrough - Photo album

Very beautiful location. It is probably the most historic steakhouse that I have ever been. The parking is huge and they have a beautiful terrace. The steaks were good but not cooked to the requested parameters. We ordered two sharing boards, and some of the steaks were even too raw, even overcooked
We had an amazing night with a really tasty meal. It is a bit overpriced but good quality. The meat was delicious, and the dessert was so so yummy 😋
Stopped in with a large party of colleagues. Decided to try a wagyu sterloin and spinach cream side (I'll have to look up the proper name). I was very happy with the whole experience. The steak and spinach was very good and satisfying. The history of the location is interesting. I would go again.
Well made steak. Ordered medium rare and it was spot on. Went out with a friend who was in town. The baileys creme brulee was really nice and well caramelised, the salad was fresh and crisp and the beef dripping chips were to die for. Definitely recommend.
Sunday evening couple's date night. Really friendly & prompt attentive service. Food really tasty. Roast Chicken dinner with dish of fresh vegetables expertly prepared and cooked on the side. Everything was well cooked. Rump steak cooked to perfection and as requested. Plenty of food in the one cour
I think I now love steak!! Three courses for £20 absolutely wonderful. We spent most on drinks really ( greedy tbh on the cocktails). Such beautiful surroundings and very professional and attentive staff. The Stilton and bacon sauce is to die for. Really lovely time and we will go back!
Food was delicious, very filling. Lovely way to spend a Saturday morning.
Fillet steak medium cooked to perfection, chips and peppercorn sauce always exceptional shared onion rings and hash browns between us so yum. Choc fudge cake for pud was so good was just a bit on the thin side needed a bit more thickness. But would highly recommend a trip this tomahawk is the most b
Had beef spring rolls for starters followed by 8oz rump steak, chunky chips n onion rings. The better half had garlic chilli prawns then 8oz rump with slaw and sweet potato wedges. Food was good unfortunately the wife was full so we didnt have desert😕 Was glad we had a voucher to help with the bill
Went for Sunday lunch. Service good, unfortunately given wrong main meal, beef & lamb given to wrong person. Lots of vegetables & gravy. Only down side the floor needed a very good clean see what you think
Delicious steak. Lovely atmosphere and service.
Absolutely loved our visit here. The quality of food and drinks was truly outstanding. Believe me you would pay 2 or 3 times the cost anywhere else in the country. The venue is beautiful and it's great that Acklam Hall was saved and not bulldozed like a lot of all other great buildings in Middlesbro
