My girlfriends and I make a lunch booking today and had a lovely time. We were greeted with a warm welcome and given choices as to where to be sit. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the posh pops that were new to the shop. I’d highly recommend this beautiful, quaint spot in Mildenhall.

I had a lovely experience here today! I came in after a long morning of hiking some trails. I was refreshed by a London Fog and the yummiest "sconewich." I was so amazed by that scone sandwich I want to try to recreate it at home! The service was great and it was a nice place to read my books while enjoying my tea. I was there for almost 3 hours, so long that they offered me the end bits of a cake they finished serving. Thank you Barleycorn for a wonderful morning turned afternoon!

I had such a wonderful🌸 time making a tea cup/spoon with Playdo, playing memory games (which I totally failed at 🤣), eating and drinking and most of all socializing with everyone. Sometimes thru the hustle and bustle of The Book 📕 of Lupi’s Life- it’s wonderful to get together and just giggle 🤣😂🤣. Thanks again for such a wonderful welcoming atmosphere and for some wonderful tasting food and Tea 🫖🥰 Your Customer Service is hands 🙌🏼 down one of the absolute best in Mildenhall 🙂
Booked a table for the evening cocktails experience - and what a night we had. Great cocktails, incredible ambiance, fab music and outstanding service throughout. What a gem that the town of Mildenhall has been crying out for.

Highly recommended. I went with a friend to try our first afternoon tea and it was delicious. We couldn't eat everything and they gave us a box to take home. I don't know what I liked more about everything I ate, we enjoyed it a lot! We were lucky enough to enjoy a wonderful day in the garden. The interior is also tastefully decorated. A charming place where you will feel at home. Without a doubt, we will be back soon! In addition, all the staff who work are charming and they care that you don't miss anything. Thank you for taking care of us!
Barleycorn is an incredible little gem of a Cafe located in the heart of Mildenhall. The staff are wonderful and friendly. The Cafe is also dog friendly. 🐕 The scones are delightful. The tea and coffee options are super tasty. They have local honey for sale too. This is a must visit place for a nice visit with friends and family or just to hang out solo.
I was actually in the canteen at Turners, Shoham. The waiter is perfect, the staff is really nice and polite, I felt good there for 15-20 minutes and the breakfast was cheap £8.10 👍👍❤️❤️
What a lovely relaxing quaint place. Had a Sunday roast in the courtyard which was one of the best I've had! Even welcomed my young pup with treats too, throughly recommend and can't wait to return 😊
We ordered a sandwich and snack platter for a baby shower we were holding at a nearby park. The food was lovely with a good mix of sandwiches and other snacks (wraps, scotch eggs, sausage rolls etc). The vegan and vegetarian boxes were also full of different options and well labelled. The packaging was fully compostable too which is always nice to see. Lovely friendly staff and great customer service. Would 100% recommend.
Just had Sunday lunch at barleycorn and must say whoever has the roast will be amazed at how nice it is,proper home roast with good portions perfectly cooked.will certainly be going back for more.

Great spot for a mid afternoon meal, but don't be too late or you'll miss out on the soup. It's that good. Free wifi and good coffee/tea always a plus.
Always receive a service with a smile! When I think of Barlycorn I think of how long it has been here - I have been here 40 + years and Barlycorn is a staple of Mildenhall. The smell of freshly prepared food fills the air as you step inside the shop. Service is always with a smile and they can adapt to your dietary needs or allergies. Lovely little place to lunch or meet friends for a coffee and snack (this includes the Hub or Town location). Also highly recommend the brownies!! absolutely delicious! Hats off to a small business that has survived so many years in a small town! As one of the local long standing members of the community, I wish Barlycorn many more years of business, and hope we never take for granted how much small business rely on our custom.

Wonderfully, attractive courtyard garden, with lots of lovely , colourful plants and gazebos for sun or rain protection. Friendly, attentive staff and a large choice of sandwiches, savouries and cakes. I can't rate it highly enough and definitely recommend the Barleycorn. A very welcoming cafe , in the heart of Mildenhall!

Love love love Barleycorn. The food is literally always amazing, they're so friendly and welcoming. One of the few places where you can go on your own to eat, have a cuppa something tasty and a chat or read your book, and not feel uncomfortable. They use lovely local produce and it's great to support local businesses. Love this place
