If you are ever over on the Isle of Great Cumbrae, then you must visit Fintry Bay. It has kerb appeal from the minute you pull up. With its green double decker bus at the back( must be a new project) to their lovely seating areas. When you walked in, you felt comfortable and relaxed. It has eclectic decor and lovely artwork, even in the toilets😁, and their bar area has great scaffold shelving. The view is amazing from any table. The staff are warm and friendly. One staff member recommended the spicey chicken pancakes, I quote, " they are so wrong together but taste so right." My fiancé tried them, and he said she wasn't wrong, very tasty. I had Eggs Nigel on sourdough toast, delicious. We will definitely be visiting again. Everyone should. it's a lovely place. ❤️

Lovely cafe with amazing views on a clear day. Binoculars are provided at the window seats for customers to use and see wildlife on the firth. Very friendly staff and the coffee is excellent.

There were many cyclists like us who took a small break, had coffee, snacks and ice cream. Perfect spot with a serene view to munch your food.

Stopped here whilst cycling round Cumbrae. Delicious lunch. My husband had the Eggs Hamish, my daughters had the biscoff pancakes. I had the Korean Cauliflower Burger which was absolutely delicious. Staff were pleasant, and the view from the window was amazing looking out onto the bay.

Very clean, tidy & well presented Cafe. Good selection of food, drinks & snacks. Excellent ☕ coffee & cakes, scones etc. There is an indoor seating area with big panoramic window with views out to Bute & Arran. Very big outdoor seating area with great views also, shaded covered super comfy lounge area & hammocks for adults to the rear. Children's play area off at the side of the seating area. Pleasant music played outside 👍 Great place.

Firstly, the location and elevation of this building is exquisite and the patio is a great place to absorb the views and atmosphere. We had ice cream outdoors and the range of flavours is very impressive. The inside of the restaurant must wait for a review on the next visit.

Phenomenal! You could go to other cafes but you'd be a fool. This place is amazing and so well thought out. From the hammocks, the pallet loungers, parasols, fantastic food and lovely atmosphere this place lacks nothing. If you're on Cumbrae this is where you go. If you're going out for the day Fintry Bay is where you go. Side note, I got the vegan salad box and it was the freshest salad I've ever had, anywhere, ever.

Lovely place. Good food for all. Dog friendly. Space to sit inside or out. Friendly staff. Prices not cheap but same all over the island so fairly normal nowadays.

Really nice service and great views. Food was at the higher end of a cafe lunch price range but it was really good quality which I was happy to pay for. I had the burger which was of a high standard. Loved it!

Lovely decor in seating area and dreamy Turkish music.Fantastic views.Been here many times but new owners who were very friendly. We only had an ice cream, numerous flavours to choose from but it was lovely and a reasonable price. My neighbour had 2 starters the previous night and said they were lovely.Looks like a great varied menu for a night out and licenced.

We went for a day trip to Millport and to cycle round Great Cumbrae. About a third of the way round the cycle route was this wonderful cafe/restaurant. We got a sunny day so bought some Equi ice-cream cones and sat in the lovely cushioned seating area looking out over the view. The kids went straight for the hammocks. The cafe had a range of savory and sweet options, coffee and cake. The restaurant inside looked lovely too and it was all bike, family, dog friendly. A wee gem.
