The Cross Keys was always a lovely pub and is even better now due to the very beautiful extension and refurbishment. The food is amazing they have a great selection of beer, wine and more to the point GIN. The Manager and her staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you. I have had many wonderful meals there and will hopefully have many more.
The Cross Keys has a great atmosphere and one of the best pubs in Milton Keynes.
I love this pub from the great customer service / friendly staff / beautiful food / atmosphere...
great family run business.... New extension has just made the CrossKeys even a better place to dine... just can’t do enough for you... Thoroughky recommend
So far one of the best pubs I’ve come across in Milton Keynes. Lots of parking available . Lovely chill vibe outside in the gardens with an outdoor bar. They were playing chill out which is my fav! Food was exquisite, with lovely presentation. Would highly recommend coming here. Service is great, the waiter came to check up on us to see if everything is good.
I had the Sea Bream which was tasty.
Excellent roast dinner, roast beef was so delicious it melted in the mouth. The chicken was great value as lots of meat and very tasty.
Desserts were delicious and service very good.
Lovely place, fantastic staff and outstanding food.
The venue was beautiful, couldn't fault a thing. The staff were beyond attentive, so much so, for the first time in my life I left a tip. The food tasted fresh and was brilliant, and again couldn't fault a thing. The next time I visit Milton Keynes I will definitely be returning. Hats off to you all

The Cross Keys is a little on the pricey side but it is well worth it. Quick service, friendly staff and not to mention INCREDIBLE food. I had the seafood linguine (£19.95) and in my opinion it was a bit much, but there was loads and loads of seafood. Dad & Granddad had the sea bass and they said there was nothing to fault, Mam had the pesto and added chicken to it (can also add salmon) and loved it. Would recommend for couples or groups of any size, wouldn't recommend for a solo eat-out.
Garden outside is spacious, the restaurant and bar area are separate.
Have been meaning to write a review for this place since June and finally getting round to it.
We sat outside in your outdoor restaurant area, which was beautiful. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was brilliant.
100% recommend the Souvlaki board and the scotch egg starter, WOW!
Had a fantastic meal here for our Wedding Anniversary.
The food tasted amazing, and was cooked exactly how we asked. The service was brilliant, with the servers being highly attentive. The restaurant is also beautiful.
Priced as expected, in my opinion.
Highly recommend for a lovely evening out!
We decided to give a go to this British restaurant after one of my good friend's recommendation.
We booked a table for our anniversary and I wanted to try something new, nice and where we could enjoy our special moment together.
We could have not chosen a better place.
Right off the bat we liked the aesthetics with thatched roof and that atmosphere of a serene traditional English pub.
Inside it looks welcoming with ample dining area, the place was full but at the same time relaxing. We sat down and despite being so busy we got our drinks pretty soon.
There is a nice selection of starters and meat dishes. We went for salmon to start with and it was delicious.
My wife went for chicken cooked with broccoli and mushrooms and I went for the ribeye, both excellently cooked, tender and very enjoyable.
We were attracted to the deserts being served at other tables and could not help but to order as they looked delicious.
I would like to thank this restaurant team for providing such a nice experience.
An exceptional roast. We had the vegetarian option. The roast potatoes were wonderful. My only criticism was the lack of cranberry or redcurrant sauce
I phoned ahead to book a table as I couldn't find a booking system online.
Friendly welcome from all staff. Interior is lovely. The food was amazing, good quality ingredients were used. The only issue was it was very warm, one lady asked to move tables somewhere cooler, but the whole pub was heated well. It's not something you would expect people to complain about, but when eating a large meal, being hot can be uncomfortable.
We had an amazing meal, the steak was incredible and service was great - the staff were very attentive and friendly; I would definitely go back.
