Very nice place, food was quick and staff were friendly, was a bit hot (could of been the Chilli Con Carne, yet I do recommend it. Cornbread was lovely) price was good and worth the money, overall very happy.

Loved the food... Enchiladas was nice... Even the whole chickens.we ordered... Service is bit slow.. Nice place to talk and discuss amongst friends.. We went with colleagues better to make reservations before hand usually full....
Been here on multiple occasions it's always great to see cheerful and friendly staff. Happy hour cocktails were amazing. Everything was good at Lus Iguanas...do recommend to try once...
Was a last minute plan to have dinner at Las Iguanas in Milton Keynes, so it was really crowded and had a 30 minute waiting time. The staff was however very friendly and accommodating and suggested that we sit at the bar area, which also had smaller tables and chairs and we could order drinks and food there too! So we went for it. We started with a couple of pina coladas and then ordered a few starters and sides to share instead of a 3 course meal. The tapas dishes (3 sharing dishes for £14.40) - lamb empanadas, haddock croquettes and the garlicky mushroom quesadila were okay, not great. But the sides (around £3.50 each) - cassava fries and patatas bravas were quite nice. Overall a good experience - nice ambience, friendly staff and decent food 👍
The food was excellent, healthier than we expected! There were plenty of gluten free and vegan options available and the wait staff were very friendly.
My husband took me here for my birthday dinner last year. The place looks very welcoming from the birds eye view with a bar and a waiting lounge and well lit for a summer evening. But the drinks were awful. My husband ordered a LIT and he says it is the worst he has ever had. I went for Cosmo and I have certainly had much better ones. Nothing to die for in drinks and that gave me a neg. indication of the place. But when we ordered our food, it was AMAZING! I am a Mexican cuisine fan and this place offers one of the finest dishes when it comes to Authentic Mexican. No complains with the food! But the place is very cluttered. seating arrangements not so appealing.... For the kind of money you pay, you would want a place where you can sit and eat at peace. Loud music and you feel like eat as quickly as you can and LEAVE!
Tasteful Buds Review. Hungry, excited and anxious, I anticipated my experience at Las Iguanas – a restaurant built on the traditions of Latin American-Indian, Spanish, Portuguese and African cuisine. As an avid and passionate lover of all things Latin, Las Iguanas could do no wrong.
Walking through its florescent doors and into a vibrant room filled with coloured furniture and a salsa club-like ambiance, I was immediately transported. The wait staff were polite yet confident, greeting me with an air of warmth and welcome as if I had arrived to a post-siesta Caribbean Rum Punch party.
We were offered a generous booth at the head of the restaurant, alongside a bright and stylised backdrop of Rio de Janeiro and it felt as though I was sitting at my own kitchen table, looking out of an open window onto the beautiful city below. Needless to say, a life-like scene was set for my meal that would follow.
The Las Iguanas menu is plentiful, offering a plethora of starters, mains, desserts and Happy Hour specials, a in range of Mexican and Brazilian styles – I was spoilt for choice and the only limitation was the depth of my stomach. Staying on top of modern-day menu needs, I also noticed plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options dotted throughout the menu.
As a personal favourite and well-known party starter, I chose the Nachos and Chill Con Carne. I’m always impressed when so-described chilli dishes deliver what they profess, and Las Iguanas’ ticked all of my chilli boxes; aromatic, spicy and bitey, perfectly partnered with crispy tortilla chips. I’d never heard of or tried ‘Vatapa Gambas’ before (Brazilian shrimp stew made from coconut milk and nuts), but as an adventurous diner, I thought it fitting to sample something new to me but traditional to the cuisine. I was delighted by the combination of smoky aromas and flavours, matched with plump shrimp in a creamy coconut sauce, all melting together perfectly in a pan. Sprinkles of dried coconut added an extra layer of texture and taste, and were a nice crunchy touch to the dish. To allow myself the full experience, I opted for dessert: Churros with a side of chocolate ganache for dipping. The light, cinnamon encrusted dough worked well with the intensely dark decadence of the ganache, simple yet more-ish and a perfect end to my traditional tasting experience. I could have happily slumped into a hammock for a well-deserved siesta.
The variety of dishes and fusion feasts, the warm and inviting atmosphere, and the perfect replication of it’s originating culture makes for a Las Iguanas recipe for success – and one that I am happy to enjoy again soon.

Tasteful Buds
Great atmosphere and good vibes. Massive portions and tasty food. Definitely a good place to visit! The food was amazing. We also had some mocktails. However they were mostly watered down not a lot of flavour.
But we had a great experience!
Went there for friends Birthday, lovely setting South American themed restaurant with a great selection of food to choose from! Can be a little pricey when choosing burgers or mixed grill, nearly £30! That being said we're not talking Beefeater here! Argentine Goucho beef! Curries from Brazil and Burritos, Enchiladas from Mexico, fish lovers and vegetarians there's something for everyone! I recommend it if you are out for a special occasion or want a treat! We chose a few starters from the menu and can I say the meatballs OMG! Melt in the mouth and the Brazilian crispy chicken delicious! The staff were friendly and nothing was ever a problem! 😁
Love Latin American food. I usually go for the tapas. I truly love the Cassava Bravas. Perfectly cooked cassava (root vegetable) crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. These crispy cubes are served on a smoky chipotle sauce, which is so good and finished off with a drizzle of aioli. The mushroom quesadillas (tortilla) are stuffed with garlicky mushrooms, chilli, thyme, and cheese. Delicately flavoured with a hint of thyme and chilli in every bite. Finally, the cheese and mango empanadas crispy pastry with a brie and mango filling. The mango is very subtle. The cheese is lovely and gooey, with a delicious chilli jam. There are loads of cocktail choices. However, on this occasion, I had a mango juice, which was a great balance of sweetness and tang. The staff are always friendly and efficient. Lorna has served us on a few occasions, very hardworking, customer focused, and an asset to the team.
My entire experience was amazing. I was greeted at the door with enthusiasm, the service was outstanding and the food only exceeded the service. Will be going back as often as possible
Las Iguanas atmosphere is fancy and relaxing. Authentic Mexican taste. Good presentation. The staff is also very friendly. Price wise not bad either; not cheap but it won’t break your bank either and with the quality of food and service I would say it’s very affordable. Parking is available both free and paid. A better option is to park in nearby Sainsbury which is free for 2 or 3 hours. Good vegetarian / vegan options. Chicken dishes are halal.
After winning a £50 gift voucher with @lasiguanasmk for a local corporates giveaway, I booked a table for my close friend and colleague for lunch.
We were greeted by the charming and welcoming Alejandra who seated us then shared the menus with us.
Wow 🤩 the choices are insane! We took so long deciding what to choose 😋 so we started with a mocktail while we were looking 🍹
I chose the chicken fajita stacks which has a special mix of spices, onions and peppers 🌶 it was accompanied with guacamole, grated cheese, sour cream, jalapeños, tomato salsa and soft wheat tortillas. I also added warm, gooey cheese 🧀 sauce. I loved hearing the super hot sizzle in the skillet when it arrived 🔥 Delicious! Such a treat 😍
My friend chose a new item on the menu - Pescado Blanco Bobo, which is white fish fillet in a spiced ginger, pepper coconut 🥥 and lime sauce. Served with spring onion rice, spiced quinoa with broad beans and chickpeas, shredded greens and pink pickled onions 😋 She loved it too.
We also shared some dirty jerk fries 🍟
Everything was cooked to perfection, super fresh and bursting with flavour. 🤩
Amazingly, we made 'room' and enjoyed Churros and Dulce de Leche Cheesecake ... so dreamy! 😍
The service was faultless by Alejandra and the team, we were given recommendations and given the menus to take away and share with our work colleagues, friends and family too.
There are some fabulous deals, including the Big Bottomless Brunch and the Chicas' Cocktail Club. We 100% will return, but this time won't be driving so we can enjoy the cocktails 😉 🍸 🍹
Great cocktails (even though they didn't match the menu pictures in garnish etc)
We ate peacefully in the bar as restaurant busy. This did result in us being slightly forgotten sometimes but we enjoyed the space. Food lovely if not a bit pricey for what it is. Over all, an enjoyable evening
Had amazing time, even though was so busy the staff managed to get all the orders, and they are so friendly and helpful, place was excellent, the food looked and taste amazing, and plenty for vegans to. Def 10/10 can't wait to come back especially happy hour 🤗
Can't really say much about the service as we sat outside and had to use the app . The food and drink arrived quite quickly I had tapas and my husband had mixed grill, the portions were quite big so very good for sharing. Everything was very tasty I particularly like the squid. A little disappointed that the 2 for 1 drinks you have to have to be same drink so you don't really get to sample to find your favourite. The strawberry colada is amazing, a little disappointed with the espresso martini but over all very much worth a visit and I will be returning
Great food , nice veg options. Delicious menu - make sure you reserve on a busy day.
