Popped in for a quick early lunch on a Saturday. We were very early so few other guests at that time, but had great service and excellent food that came quickly. Absolutely fantastic fish pie.
We went here for our 2nd anniversary this week, the food was by far the best meal out we've had. We both ordered the duck breast and every bite was cooked perfectly. Can’t recommend enough
Great pub with lovely atmosphere and friendly service. Food was good; I enjoyed the beef brisket pie and my partner had the duck which he liked but noted that the fondant potatoes were very dry and he struggled a bit to cut his food in the bowl they served it in (perhaps a plate would be better?). Outstanding pub and setting, well decorated and kept throughout and a lovely garden. Superb service, very attentive bar and restaurant staff - polite, courteous, well natured and good humoured. Our kids were made to feel welcome here. Really good food too - and a great selection of ales, beers, wi

We met up with friends on Saturday evening. Three had starters and all a main course. My husband had the ham & eggs the meat was good but the egg whites were a bit rubbery. We all ate our meals and empty plates all round. Just coffee after that, which was OK but nothing special. The staff were
