First time here, always walk past this place but I’m so glad I stopped here to see what the hype was all about. Chips taste amazing, fresh, crispy. Portion size is generous and a bargain. Most importantly the customer service with the gentleman running the till is outstanding!

Dad’s birthday. Big order. Cooked beautifully. Fab service and everything done on time. All my guests commented on the quality and asked for the details of the shop. Thanks lads great job!

My favourite fish and chip shop. Quick service, fresh food, and friendly customer service. Reasonable size portions as well. Car parking available near by. No seating area inside.

Great fish and chips. However my mushy peas were like soup and so salty I might have died if I ate them! It might have been a one off mistake, but you need to tighten up here folks. I'm generously only knocking off one star though ;-D Update: went back a second time and the mushy peas were top notch. So adding a star!

Since we’ve found Friars we won’t go anywhere else for our chippy teas! Always arrives piping hot, tastes great and they’ll always give the perfect amount of salt and vinegar (and give more if you ask)! ❤️
