Fayre & Square

Went with friends and their 18 month old baby. Lovely space in an old mill and very clean. Service was excellent, very family friendly and Tabitha was great. Decent pub food served quickly, vegetarian and vegan options available. Lots of car parking, it also has a children's playground and it's next to a picturesque lake for walks and feeding the ducks. We had a lovely time!

This pub it situated in such gorgeous surroundings by a lake with spacious and easy parking, there is a kids mini railway at the back of the car park but I wasn’t sure if it’s still operational but it looked liked a fun place. The pub had such a friendly atmosphere and all the staff that I encountered from the moment I walked in seemed professional, polite and had smiles on their faces. It was super busy and I did feel for the team working there, they were rushed off their feet. I got served by a lady called George (hope I’ve spelt that right) and she was super lovely, hilarious, attentive and professional and just made me and my daughter feel comfortable from the get go. I’ve been to this pub only once before but that was many many years ago and I can definitely say things have improved tenfold since my previous visit, wow absolutely loved it there this time, it was a spontaneous drop in on the way past but so glad i did and I would definitely recommend the team, food, atmosphere and pub and and will be going back again soon.

A great, friendly pub. Having visited a few times, the service has always been second to none. A couple of time is have visited with my toddler and the service is always super fast with no long waits, they definitely know how to work with children! I have also visited twice with a group of friends in the evening, both times served by Lloyd. He is an absolute asset to the restaurant - super friendly, had jokes with us, helped with selecting wine, blacked out the calories on the desert menu after i joked they made me feel bad, and gave us space when we were having a more sensitive conversation. All in all we had a wonderful evening, helped hugely by his service. Thank you Lloyd!! The pub itself is modern and has a nice ambience, and the food, although not fine dining, is always up to standard for pub grub and portions are generous.

My friend and I visited today and had a great meal and drinks. The place was very clean and tidy. But the best bit was that theservice was fantastic, they couldn't do enough. Shout out to Lloyd our waiter (super friendly and helpful) the chef who made our fantastic food (including my fussy requests!) and checked everything was OK and to the barman who made the most amazing hot chocolate for my friend! We will definately be back! 🙂

I regret discovering this place late. I stayed in the hotel last year and that time I had a chance to walk around the lake after having breakfast at this place. The environment is relaxing and its a perfect getaway if you live in London or even MK. In my last visit I tried a main course and a cocktail and had a nice walk around the lake just before returning to London. Pity that it was rainy so cant wait to be there next time to grab a pint and sit outside by the lake!
