Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in MK. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had in a while in MK. Rio, our waiter was prompt, smart, caring, and knowledgable about the food. And he just had this friendly demeanor about him that made us both happy. Highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of celebrating a birthday dinner at the Italian Sul Lago, and I must say it was a delightful experience. This restaurant has it all - a fantastic location with plenty of parking, delectable food, and a wonderful ambience. We went on a Monday and were serenaded by the beautiful melodies of Magdalena's violin as we enjoyed our meal. The service was superb right from the beginning. Our drink orders were promptly taken as soon as we were seated, and our starters arrived without much delay. Lorna, our host for the evening deserves a mention for her exceptional attentiveness and helping to make the evening special by going above and beyond. As for the food, every dish we tried was enjoyable, but the Linguine All'astice was a true standout. The combination of flavours was exquisite, and it came with a generous amount of succulent lobster meat. I highly recommend trying this dish during your visit. Thank you for the memorable evening and I can't wait to return.

Gorgeous newish Italian restaurant with amazing views out over the lake and spectacular skies in the evening. Inside is well decorated with a large artificial tree dominating downstairs. The food is great and I had the best carbonara I've ever had in the UK here. They are also open on a morning for those walking round the lake with generous portions of cake to add to your brew. I did drop a star from atmosphere as we last went on a Friday evening and the music was a lot louder and more like a bar in town than a suburban restaurant so conversation was that little bit harder, but overall a very easy place to recommend.

Sunday lunch menu is limited. We didn't visit looking for a roast, so the reduction in the normal menu was a bit disappointing. I had roast lamb, which was pretty decent, although the side order of cauliflower cheese was disappointing. I'm not sure why we had to listen to a musician at lunchtime. It wasn't the reason for going and didn't seem necessary and, at times, was overwhelming. Added nothing to the ambience and was an unnecessary expense, we would suggest to the management. Staff were a bit casual. We had to suggest that eating dessert with serving spoons was a little inappropriate. Apple crumble was tasty. Pricing seemed fair.

We stumbled across this place as we walked around Furzton lake and it was stunning! Even though it was busy, we managed to get a table just in time to watch a beautiful sunset. The staff were all super friendly, welcoming and helpful from start to finish. We had pizzas which were lovely and cocktails were equally as nice- I would say reasonable priced. To top it off, a guy called Chris Wilkinson played guitar and sang. He is very talented and his engagement with the crowd made the whole experience even better! I would HIGHLY recommend. I wish I lived closer as this has become my new favourite restaurant. Thanks for your hospitality x

Absolutely fantastic restaurant, perfect location overlooking the lake. The food was delicious and the drinks were unique, tasty and very well priced. The highlight was the excellent service. Lorna was kind, attentive and an brilliant host. Martin was also very nice, he took the time to talk and it was great to get an insight in the restaurants origins and where the inspiration came from. Highly recommended 10/10

I'd messed up the reservation but they were still able to accommodate us. The food was excellent and the customer service even better. The staff gel really well which contributes to the great atmosphere. Service was quick and attentive and the venue is well thought out. They have a good selection of beers and the cocktails were highly rated by my partner ☺️ We will definitely be going again, thank you 🙌

There's a car park behind. This can be found off of Watling Street. Restaurant entrance is quite small, and it's not overly obvious where to enter. The restaurant has an inside and outside area with casual tables. There are views across the lake. The menu is varied and the food is reasonably priced. The food arrived quickly, although not with a smile. A few things to note.... They're not open later in the evening. The tables by the window have an excellent view of the lake, but if the sun is shing they can get very hot and act as a greenhouse !! The toilets were very dirty and the floor was sticky, they definitely hadn't been cleaned in a while. We found the tables VERY close together and I even manged to nudge a woman in the arm whilst I was eating. Visually set up very well, and with a few tweaks this place could be alot better. Do check out the dinosaurs behind the building.....

First time visiting this restaurant and I can definitely say it did not disappoint. The design, layout and overall atmosphere were was amazing. The restaurant overlooks a lake and has a great view if you manage to get a window seat. The food was very unique and inventive and we loved it all. Recommended going on a sunny day or evening to get the full experience.

Beautiful restaurant close to Furzton Lake and park. Spacious... with the light coming through the broad glass windows creating a lovely ambiance during the day. In the evening/night, the combination of the aura and decor feels rich, warm and elegant . The food looks great and tastes even better. The service is really good with warm, friendly and engaging staff. I have had lunch and dinner there few times, and I highly recommend.

Loved this place! Great food and service. We got pizza and pasta! They even did a special request because we wanted vegetarian pasta. They made penne Arribiata. It tasted amazing! The base on the pizza and garlic bread was so crispy!

I booked here for mine and my partners one year anniversary and Lorna was our server for the evening, she was very happy, bubbly and warm welcoming. Which is always good in the hospitality industry, as I know it’s hard work! Nothing was ever to much trouble, she is an absolute asset to the team and made sure our evening was extra special. She remained attentive and lovely throughout the entire of our meal from start to finish… Do what you can to keep this one ! She knows her stuff.

Beautiful venue with nice pizzas. The location and design make it possibly the most aesthetic restaurant in MK. The pizzas are decent, in a neapolitan style with huge crusts. The size of the crust means there isn't as much pizza left for toppings. The dough is good. The pasta was fine. Although the empty lobster shell looked nice on arrival, it would have been better if all of the meat originally inside it actually made it into the dish. The starters were all fine but I wouldn't reorder any, especially at £8 a pop. We went when it just opened and there were some teething issues with the service and the drinks, but these may be fixed now. There's a lot of head on the pints and the cocktails(!?). They also won't give you the food menu until you've chosen drinks, so you can't pair drinks with food unless you've decided beforehand. It felt like they were finding their feet, but there was nothing too bad - just a bit amateur. It feels overpriced, but everything is expensive at the moment and you pay for a great view.

Great location with stunning views of the lake. Good atmosphere and beautiful decor. Antipasti and pizza were delicious. The deserts and coffee need improving though. Great experience overall.

First time to visit Sul Lago - lovely location on the lake. Beautifully decorated inside. Lively atmosphere on a Saturday night, a little noisy perhaps but we could still chat at our table. All our food was delicious and fairly priced, but the stand out for me was the excellent service we received from the waiting staff. They were on their A game. It was busy, but they were always on hand at exactly the right time when we needed them, without being intrusive. They were polite and courteous and all seemed to be very well trained and all knew their job. It made such a refreshing change to really feel looked after at our table, and we had a very enjoyable evening.

Had a great evening last night. Service was excellent. Friendly, welcoming, couldn't have been more helpful, even though the restaurant was completely packed. Gorgeous cocktails, good food (especially given the staff shortages). We'll definitely return when the full menu is on. So lucky to have this here now
