A Cotswolds gem. Great seasonal food and lovely atmosphere. We had a plant based dishes and both were super delicious and freshly prepared. The location was lovely too 👌🏽 we will definitely come back 🤎

Great ambience and feel of a pub! While we had a coffee in pub 😅, it was because we had to drive, we loved the atmosphere and their warm welcoming hospitality. I would recommend folks to visit this place.

Great setting, amazing food, dog friendly. We had the pork and leek pie and the apple crumble and thoroughly enjoyed. Will be back!

Excellent food in a lovely Cotswold pub setting. The chicken and leek pie was outstanding, Bream also good. Daughter had the crispy beef salad which I was lucky enough to finish off. Very enjoyable meal.

Excellent all round. One of the Scotch eggs I've ever had, generous and tasty roast beef, lovely treacle tart and parfait to finish off. Staff were great and dog friendly.

Passing through on a random Tuesday lunchtime, looked nice and decided to stay for lunch. Service and staff very friendly. Ordered rib-eye steak (good), my wife had the burger which looked amazing. Parking behind the pub is very limited, not an issue as I did manage to find a space. I'd say much more of a winter pub than summer one, would feel very cosy in the colder months. Will stop by again I'm sure.

Lovely place. Although the vege options were limited, the food we did have was exceptional! Great friendly service and well maintained place.

We were really looking forward to Sunday lunch but came away a bit disappointed ...We felt we'd been really overcharged for this simple meal. Friends say fish options are always good, so we should have had that instead of the roast beef dinner. If you just want a load of meat, then you are in luck. However the roast potatoes weren't nice at all; we all agreed they were stale. (We ate around 2.45 pm but that shouldn't matter). Table service was good, however.

The Milton Hare is consistantly fantastic. The food is excellent and the staff are the friendliest I have ever known - they are more like friends than staff thats for sure. Living in Shipton - the next village along, means there is no shortage of fabulous local places to go but luckily for us and our dog, The Hare is the closest and serves the best quality food. Keep it up! :o)

Birthday dinner was fantastic! We are lucky to live on the doorstep and can drop in regularly and hope it goes from strength to strength as food always great particularly the seafood . Friendly and super efficient staff. Just all round great dining pub. We love it and no driving involved.

Had a great lunch here today and will be going back very soon. If you visit their web-site and view the menu they actually serve lamb and not lamp!! Maybe they do and it's just for light meals. They also supply (which you can take with you) a creditcard size magnifying card if you need glasses and have forgotten them. Great idea and then will always have them for future use. Mine are in my wallet so I don't need to remember my reading glasses.

Had a great night here, staying with our friends from the village, Pete and Chris. Fantastic atmosphere, great refurbishment with shabby chic furniture, and lovely beer garden. Friendly staff who made us feel special, a truly memorable night out.

We went to this pub three times in a week, we loved it! The food was delicious and had a modern twist. The fish menu was soo tasty definitely going back next year.

Good food. The waitress we had interupted our coversation each time she came to the table. Think the prices are too high for a working village, even in the Cotswolds.
