Just great fish and chips with proper mushy peas. We got a smaller portion which was still big! Nice place.
Returned today 1st time since a bad batch a year ago. The food today (fish and chips and cuury sauce and home made tartare sauce ) was absolutely top notch, worth every penny.
Had some fantastic chips from here earlier. Best I’ve had in Gloucestershire and they even let the dog stand inside. Superb service

Super Chips, fish, pies and sausage from here tonight. Absolutely delicious. All cooked perfectly and the beef dripping made it so tasty. Chips are often dry from chippy’s but these were perfect, even after a 20 min drive home. Good sized portions too…2 large chips were enough for our family of 5 adults.
Service was excellent and helpful, they even offered to fry up separate chips for 1 vegan in our group.

Epic fast service nipped in for chips but they were the best chips I've had in ages. Crisp outside and soft inside. Will be back for a proper meal very soon!

THE most amazing, delicious, divine fish and chips I've ever had in this country! The fish was super fresh and cooked to perfection, the batter super light, the chips were delicious, the sauces were divine - fresh and served in little pots, as opposed to little prepacked bags. I'm South African so I know good fish and chips and it's been very disappointing in England so far. I've been here for 20 years and this is really the best so I've had! The packaging is excellent too as each serving is packed into it's own robust box and then everything is placed into a waxed bag so it's piping hot when you get it home. Really impressed, thank you.

I think the most important bit about a chippie is their chips, and The Chip Shed nails that. Although I haven't had the fish, the halloumi is also excellent so I have no doubt that the fish is too. Lucky to have this as my local fish and chip shop!
