The Wheelhouse Restaurant - Minehead - Photo album

Booked the last available inside table the day before for Sunday lunch. So glad we did. Good size mains leaving room for dessert. Had a pork lunch (with roast pots, carrots and tenderstem broccoli) followed by cheesecake with raspberries and raspberry coulis. Excellent. May return for another lunch
Rang to book table and managed to get in. This place is really nice and different. It was built in 1925. This is on the main part of Minehead. The staff friendly and welcoming. The owners really nice, ran out of blackcurrant so girl popped to shop which I thought was good. The food was nice though p
Lovely cosy restaurant with friendly staff, excellent service and tasty food.
Enjoyed a delicious homemade Sunday lunch with dessert here. The menu offered so many choices, and all looked so good, that it was hard to choose. We had a perfect roast beef lunch, followed by crème brûlée and pavlova with fresh raspberries. The service was very friendly and efficient and the price
Very nice restaurant. Very good food. We had Sunday lunch and the roast potatoes and parsnip were probably amongst the best I've had. Bread and butter pudding was big enough to share (if you've a mind). You must book for Sunday lunch. Price is reasonable and service is very good.
What a wonderful little restaurant. Good quality home cooked food, attentive staff and really good value. We really couldn't fault the place. (The desserts were amazing)
Went there with a friend for Lunch. Had the steak and it was cooke perfectly. The chips were amazing and so were the Onion Rings. The old building is a nice atmosphere inside (Wish they had AC but most old building done so can’t really complain) Staff were Great and Attentive. The food came out fast
Absolutely gorgeous food, lovely staff. Quiet atmosphere, really nice. I would highly recommend
Good restaurant choice if you are vegan, vegetarian or need a gluten free meal (there is a separate gf menu with lots of choice). There is seating inside and out. Service was quick and friendly and the food was very well presented & tasted good, but perhaps needed just a little bit more flavour at t
A quintessentially British restaurant which is widely hailed as the number one catering establishment out of 67 in the environs of Minehead. There is a pleasant outside seating area when weather permits, otherwise inside is a comfortable area with pleasing ambience. The menu here can be as simple
Fantastic food excellent gluten free range lots to choose from . Booking is advised Photos are of gluten free food.
Beautiful food, wonderful service. Small but cosy and not overcrowded, lovely atmosphere and a real treat whilst we were on our holidays. Be sure to book, as it gets full!
Booked to eat outside of Butlins as food on site was poor - it was a lovely meal, lovely staff too. The crumble dessert really made it for me
Good menu , great service and well cooked food. Book in advance if you want to be sure of getting a table. Decent booze selection too
A lovely family run restaurant. Traditional British menu, reasonably priced..
This is the 4th time we've dined here. That speaks for itself. If it wasn't good, you wouldn't go back. It's always good! Good choice on the menu, for all dietary requirements.
I booked table for four on 25 October Best food and service we had for sometime
The food was actually quite tasty, it was very busy so service wasn't quick but we all knew someone on another table so the atmosphere was friendly and fun.
Excellent family run restaurant, the food was delicious and the staff were attentive and friendly.
