The Severn Bore Minsterworth - Minsterworth - Photo album

Great little pub right on the riverbank, perfect if you're en route to or coming back into the forest of Dean from Gloucester. Good beer. Great service. Family friendly. Lovely beer garden.
Fabulous carvery Sunday lunch and great value too. Very friendly and welcoming with great beer too (Butty Bach, Doombar to name but two). Right next to the Severn with wonderful views of the river from the garden.
always a friendly face at the bar. staff in general are happy, helpful, and friendly. Nice little pub to chill for a cold one and a bite to eat.
Watched the Severn Bore come up river from here, 8am, plenty of parking. We could smell the bacon outside so decided to have a cooked breakfast, which we ate outside. Fabulous service, breakfast was 1 of the best iv had in a long time, very tasty and nicely cooked (not burned or dry). I think we pay
Delicious carvery with helpful staff, right on the river bank, beautiful place and even bouncy castles n play area for the kids! :)
Great food, great price, lovely service, very welcoming.
Didn't eat as we were there for the Severn Bore ironically. Lol
Excellent place to visit.
Food quality good, numerous choices of beer, I had the Butty, fantastic beer. The staff were lovely and helpfull. The loss of a stare was for 3 things, first when we arrived I went straight in to let the staff know we had arrived as we were 5min late and the rest of the party were sorting the wheel
Very nice food piping hot ate every bit my plate was clean
Family friendly, bouncy castle, lovely Riverside garden with a nice view.
Great place for food, especially fish and chips. The best one so far. Definitely ill come back to try roast dinner!
What a lovely hidden gem. Looks a bit rundown from the road, but it’s clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the beer garden overlooks the River Severn and is a brilliant place to spend a bank holiday. Our food was well cooked and presented, and we will definitely be returning
The new owners have been in c 5 weeks. The service, food and welcome was far better than expected, like they've been there years. Felt at home. Need to get more parking and remove the sofa from in front of the garage, otherwise 5*
Absolutely beautiful pub with a beautiful garden and beautiful staff. Great food too with wonderful service. Wooden burner too. The view over the River Severn is amazing. Will go back to watch the Bore one day. Let us stay in the camper van too.
For a new management team who've only been in place just over 5 weeks, very good. Warm welcome, well priced drinks, food at £10 for Christmas lunch.
Best triple roast I've had in a long time! Crunchy and fluffy roast potatoes, crackling to die for and really cheesy cauliflower. If the weather was better, I'd talk about the riverbank searing, with the best view of the Severn a few feet below you. Real old school pub, friendly staff and a welcomin
