Went for breakfast yesterday and because we had to wait a wee bit longer because the bacon wasn't ready, we got free refills of our coffee from the lovely lady who was serving... so nice to actually find staff who are polite and friendly.... and to the lovely ladies who went out of their way to source and bring my Highland cow straight to me... he looks fantastic, thanks ladies.... we will be back...

I took a group of our day centre members for lunch yesterday and as there were 12 of us I phoned and booked in advance. The staff despite being very busy attended to us very quickly and our selection of sandwiches and soups were very tasty. We had a wander round the shop where we made some purchases and then we went back to our table to find our jugs of juice and water had been replenished and fresh glasses were there. We ordered teas and coffees (I had a MASSIVE hot chocolate) and a selection of cakes and biscuits which we enjoyed. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their outing. Thank you very much to all

Cheese and broccoli pasta bake was great and my only complaint was I couldn't finish it because of the generous portion

Well what can I say. I always go in for a look around and never come out empty handed. I love the place. Always take my family & friends there when they pop up for a visit. Yesterday 12 Sept 2016 .

Great restaurant if you want to grab something to eat after a browse around the large gift / homeware section and the outdoor garden centre. Soup and half sandwich is our favourite

In the centre of Mintlaw the main roundabout has good signage to the Happy Plant centre. Mintlaw has this superb Garden Centre with a full range of gardening products as well as a clothing range and at this time of year the christmas stock is appearing. There are many gift items throughout. A well stocked cafe is a useful addition with a good selection of meals.

Lovely selection of all things garden. Lots of plants and shrubs along with garden furniture and ornaments just everything you could want for your garden. Also a range of various household goods, gifting items, clothing and top of the range foodstuffs and confectionery. Had lunch in the restaurant which was lovely with a good range of snacks or lunches on the menu. Well worth a visit.

Great garden centre to wander round, I actually bought some Xmas gifts!!! Then went to restaurant...oh my gosh...vast menu and all looked amazing, lentil soup was finished so went for chicken n mushroom and I must say it was the absolute best soup I have ever tasted.. and I eat a lot of soups...so tasty and filling, I could only eat half a sandwich, you can ask for box for anything you want to take home. Will defo return here, if just for soups!!! Brilliant, hats off to the chef
