Review Miners Arms - Mithian

Read the reviews looking for a cream tea and ended up stopping your dinner too. The food was amazing and plenty of gluten free options just ask for the special menu and then it came was impossible to tell. Even though it was raining we stopped outside as we had two dogs, but plenty of under cover seating. Locals were friendly and atmosphere was amazing, definitely a hidden gem just outside St Agnes. Pie on pics was not gf but ploughman's and brownie with clotted cream certainly were. Loved it

Stumbled across this little pub. Such a great find. Food was outstanding. Service was brilliant, a little too good....but that's because I like a nice break between courses. Would definitely recommend the pork....over members of my party had food envy, oh accept the veggie would had the best starter of halloumi!!!! Fantastic price. 3 course meal 4 guests.

Popped into The Miners Arms on the way back from Lands End, it was a Sunday so wasn’t sure if we would get a table for the 5 of us, there wasn’t any inside but the staff were lovely and offered us an under cover table outside which was absolutely fine, the service was great and the food was just what we all needed! We all had a Sunday roast and it did not disappoint it was beautiful! Couldn’t say no to a pudding either 😍 would highly recommend to anyone 👍🏼

What an absolute gem of a find. Excellent food, superb, attentive staff. Dogs aloud and well looked after with treats readily available for them. Nothing too much trouble. You must give this place a go when down here.

Booked for Sunday lunch and the veggie option was particularly good with a really tasty nut roast and the vegetables cooked to perfection. Highly recommended but really have to book in advance. Very dog friendly also.

Popped in for some dinner on our travels with no warning. Welcomed us and we’re very friendly. Option to either eat in/ takeaway - eat in was roughly £2 more per item. The food was absolutely delicious and the building was very sweet, filled with Polaroid pictures at the bar. I asked if it was okay if we kept our camper van in their car park for the night and they allowed us (usually only available for Brit Stops but they had the space). Couldn’t recommend more and only a few minutes from Healeys cider farm!

The vegan options here were so so appreciated— and all delicious! My partner, his family and I all got to choose from an amazing range of creative dishes and desserts, which meant so much to us as vegans/veggies who are used to fairly meh options when out of big cities. Wish we could’ve stayed and gone back for the vegan roast too. The vegan options were why we went in the first place and weren’t disappointed- lovely staff and garden space too :) One of the lovely puddings pictured below! (White chocolate & berry pudding)

We were fortunate enough to get a table in the beer garden for lunch on bank holiday Monday (six adults & two children) and I cannot fault the food or staff one bit. The food we all had was delicious - from a crab sandwich to a Moroccan chicken salad to a bespoke 'cheese and peas' jacket for my three year old :-). The staff were clearly very busy but they were always incredibly friendly and professional. Would most certainly come back here again soon. Thoroughly recommend!

We found this pub by pure accident 2 years ago during one of our holidays in Cornwall and I can tell you that it was the best thing we ever done! My husband (and our family, and the dog!) love visiting traditional pubs in our holidays or weekends off, and I can assure you that this pub is with no doubt in our top list as one of the BEST pubs we have ever visited in England! The place has a unique atmosphere (very old building with quirky floors/rooms), the food is superb, the staff is SOOO friendly and make you feel so welcome! I can not fault it! If you have never been there, please do it!

We have been coming here twice a year since 2010 on mini breaks and holidays. What can I say.... The food, service and general ambience just gets better and better. I didn't think you could improve on perfection but you can. Anouska, Andy and their team are so welcoming. The food is awesome and the gin and tonics are to die for. Massively dog friendly and my two are made to feel like VIP's. This place is well worth a visit and I promise, once you go, you will keep returning. Love this place. :)

A quirky little pub, very dog friendly The staff were welcoming the service was very good and prompt, The food was delicious dessert was divine. I had the chefs trio it was well worth it! (if you ask nicely they'll give your furry friends the chefs meat scraps) overall a very good pub, we will be returning again.

Absolutely fabulous birthday meal. The starter was delicious ham hock Bon’s Bon’s, followed by a melt in the mouth steak with port and Stilton sauce which was amazing and a sumptuous bread and butter pudding. We even couldn’t get enough of the cucumber infused water. 5 stars from us.

Awesome pub! Huge amount of character and beautifully kept, with an abundance of flowers and brilliant information about the local area. The food... 🤤! So incredibly amazing, we've been for a few different meals over the years and have not been disappointed, ever!! Staff are always very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend to people who are looking for a quirky pub and place to eat! And there new 'convient store' is very handy for the locals! See you all soon xx

Lovely cosy pub with roaring log fire. Had a fabulous meal of haddock goujons followed by liver and bacon for me and steak and kidney pie for hubby. All delicous and served by very friendly staff. Shame we live so far away or we'd be here every week.

Wasn't informed there was a birthday party taking place in the room when we booked our meal. Screaming kids etc not a good atmosphere for our family meal. !!!!!. We should have been made aware of this in advance.

Fabulous Cornish Pub, great wine list and delicious maple pork crackling to snack on. Friendly locals. My daughter's favourite St Agnes pub. A real treat for an Aussie Mum visiting Cornwall.
